Why are people so concerned about a bird that can't fly walking across a road?

Because of new food laws, KFC will have to raise its chickens on site where the customers pick which bird they want to eat. How ever do to unfortunate events, (fortunate for the chicken) this chicken escaped in a blaze of glory it pecked the eyes out of a manager. It made it's way out of the restaurant through the front door right when a customer opened it to enter. The foul has been named Lucy the fer, and is currently on a pecking spree. Lucy the fer causes traffic accidents by crossing roads making concerned drivers swerve and slam their brakes. When the vehicles stop, the feathered fiend strikes.
