The only reason you people believe shotguns and snipers will dominate os because you dont pick your battle correctly with a primary, with specials you domt always need to, play it smart with a primary and you wouldnt be making this post
You have to realize though, that the reason people migrated so heavily toward Special weapons was an abundance of ammo combined with weak primary weapons and a very campy, lopsided game mode... *cough* Trials *cough*
No the reason people migrated is they just suck with a primary, and refuse to get good with them. As much as I hate the term get good, people would rather just play with what's easier, a OHK weapon. That'll be the downfall for everyone who sucks with a primary, come next Tuesday.

Wrong. This game was built on a fast time to kill, and high mobility on launch/Year 1. People refused to "get good" as you put it, and instead came here to cry nerf every time they died. THAT is how we ended up with a Special weapon meta.

How the game was built, and how it is are 2 very very.. different things. I agree with the year 1 part, special weapons were beyond powerful in year 1, but with fast ttk primaries, they weren't as potent. That's how this game should be, fast ttk primaries, with unique 'special' weapons to mix it up.

It's a combination of both. Why on Earth would you have so much ammo for one shot kill weapons anyway? Shotguns, Fusions and Sniper Rifles should serve to change the pace of game play from dueling, to outright carnage for a period of time. Same way Heavy ammo does.

Now sidearms dominate the field u can't play smart with a primary because u get outgunned by the sidearm either way all I see now is wormwood and maybe havoc but that's it they are using it as a primary now and not using the actual primary
