Religion; [i]the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.[/i] Science; [i]the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.[/i] No overlap here. Science does not fit the definition of religion in any way, shape or form.
