Has a 25% chance to drop. 2) Reach Gunsmith Rank 10. He will instruct you to scour the Ember Caves in a mission to kill a tough Vex Hydra transferring important data. 3) Completing the mission gives you a Vex Energy Terminal. It unlocks a mission to travel through a Vex gate and activate the Terminal's source. This mission is extremely hard to solo. Rewards you with a Vex Terminal (Charged). 4) For 100 weapon parts and 50 heavy synths, Banshee crafts the Basic Vex Rifle. 5) You need to get 50 PVP and 100 PVE kills with the gun. 6) Banshee gives you the Advanced Vex Rifle, but tells you that the Vanguard forbids the weapon's usage, and that you must hand it over to Cassoid for redesign. This takes until next reset. 7) At next reset, you are informed that the gun is nearly ready, but is strangely inoperable as it is corrupted by a mysterious transmission. You have to chase a squadron of Vex into the Academy and the Ishtar Archives, where a huge Praetorian Mind awaits, surrounded by time gates - and is also difficult to kill without a team. The source of the transmission is revealed to be the cybernetic mind of the dead Gulida Tuyet, connected to the Vex network by the Praetorian Mind.
