Is it actually a viable perk in crucible, or does the dmg count remain the same? I've tested it out a bit with (one of)my eyasluna and didn't notice a real difference in shots/kills. Does anybody know the current specifics on explosive rounds in PVP? Do they add significant dmg or flinch? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

1 回覆It'll deal essentially double damage. Getting a bodyshot will hit twice (the bullet and explosion). Getting a headshot will hit the head for that damage and a bodyshot.

1 回覆My eyasluna did like 81 to the head or something. Now its like 57+21 or something. Explosive rounds takenms away damage but conpensates for damaging mulitple targets

I have an NL Shadow with explosive rounds and running rift last night it was working great. Seems to disoriented the enemy a lot and also the splash damage and decent ROF gets quick kills. I've run with and without and it seems faster with.

1 回覆Explosive rounds never served as well in pvp as it does in pve. Extra damage isn't worth the effort against a guardian. But an explosive round in a small group of thralls, well, that's one less group of thralls.

1 回覆The best thing about explosive rounds in pvp is they stagger the crap out of your target.

Expect scout rifles that do 1 extra damage with explosive rounds, the rest of weapons the damage never changes for PvP it just shows on two parts , but for pve explosive rounds it seems do more damage on body shots, for some reasons, explosive rounds do make flinch a bit more

由sweaty_jaskens編輯: 4/25/2016 3:01:55 PMLast I checked it it does less for a crit but more for body shots. It's good for clumped enemies especially if you throw a firebolt or arcbolt and then spam shots at s clump of enemies. Terrible for 1 on 1 duals, although it does cause a lot of screen shake for the person being shot. I ended up switching it off for pvp and on for pve. Tldr: less crit, more body shot, significant screen shake

1 回覆Explosive Rounds take half of whatever the total damage of the shot and applies it to the area around the target. It's basically free damage to whoever is standing close to your target. The only drawback is if you needed the rest of that headshot damage to finish off someone and proc a headshot kill perk.

1 回覆It was great in y1, when you could roll a scout with firefly, explosive rounds and full auto. Worked wonders if you were covering a choke point, with 2-3 players running single file through a doorway.

1 回覆Viable or not, the perk increases the inherent fun value of a gun, lilkly more useful in PVE though.

5 回覆I saw a vid on YouTube a week or so ago (I think from a Reddit post) so you could try googling it. From memory there was a benefit though minor in PvP and a larger benefit (particularly against shielded enemies) in PvE. Main point seemed to be that it is a better perk than generally thought.

1 回覆Nearby enemies take damage in a small radius and causes large head-flinch which can sometimes put your headshots off target. Good for mowing through.
