Hello!
Spektar Class Items are currently bugged. If you are wearing one, you will not gain any progress towards getting your exotic. Please equip an older one, if you have it, or purchase a new one from your faction. Bungie is aware of the issue and they are investigating. :)

I am having the same problem. I am using Bittersteel, Omen of the Decayer and the new Dead Orbit Endling Mark (titan mark) and have done a couple of heroic strikes with nothing registering. I don't have any old marks. If vaults were bigger perhaps I would have kept one. Is there a way to get an old mark? Cheers. P.S. that link you previously posted (https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/44590) doesn't load for me either.
