Uhhhh. And here's another one. Actually dude, I don't think anyone feels entitled for new content. Bungie released a game that is a 10 yr project. So far in the 2nd yr the game has been cut in half and it's become more repetitive than ever with the worse grind of ever. So if they want us to continue to play their game for a longer period of time and extend the lifespan of destiny, than new content is needed. It's a trade. We play and support their product and they continue to give new and fresh gameplay. Think about that.

It's a 10-year franchise. That doesn't mean this single game spans 10 years. The grind is much easier than it was in year one; you just don't remember. I don't think any of you realize how much time and effort it takes to create 'content.' It's simply not feasible to get all the things you are EXPECTING (Bungie didn't PROMISE you any content that it didn't give you).

Yes. Destiny was a 10 yr project. There might be a destiny 2 and 3, but the project was for 10 yrs. With ttk they removed content more or less by making nearly everything obsolete like POE, Crota, VOG, and most of the strikes plus the NF is frivolous now. And no, the grind was never bad after a few months of the launch. If I have a weapon I really like, but it's only 285 light and I want to get it to 315, I need 5-6 other 315 weapons I don't like. Gear is the same way. Right now the only way to level past 310 is the raid or trials and so many don't like pvp plus only like 1% make it flawless. HoW had poe 32,33,35, NF, trials, 2 raids hard and normal plus you could ascend any legendary you wanted and it took 1 time to max it out. This game has taken a turn for the worse.

I agree that planned obsolescence sucks, but all games of the loot-based nature do it. If you play an RPG with expansions, obsolescence, power creep, and renormalization are all thematic problems. The solution certainly isn't what they chose to go with in The Taken King, but grinding for full sets of Vault of Glass/Crota's End gear + shards and later dozens of Etheric Light were much worse of an experience than what we have now. The Taken King is an improvement without a doubt.
