TL:DR - People who don't like Siege typically don't like it because of the learning curve or they just aren't good at it.
Siege is a unique game and I have noticed a lot of people dislike it for no other reason than they are not good at it. Siege is TEAM BASED and I have noticed a lot of people try and play this game like Cod/Destiny. You can have strong solo players but you simply can't just run around all over the place like other shooters.
Gunplay is realistic in the sense that the TTK is low because it mirrors real life. Personally, RS6 is my favorite shooter since Modern Warfare 2 because it requires more skill & attention than other shooters. (I wasn't indirectly saying MW2 took skill to be clear)
Just my personal observation.

2 回覆Yeah well they can hate all they want that doesn't bother me, what does bother me is when I join a ranked game by myself which is supposedly "skill matched" and I find myself teamed up with 1 other competent player, and idiot who team kills and 2 recruits who die within 15 seconds.

I like games like this in theory, but in practice I don't like them even if I play well. There's just too much pressure for me with small teams like that. It's why I don't like Counter Strike or Search and Destroy type gametypes in other shooters. The suspense of having to check every single corner is too much for me, I need games to relax, not to cause more stress.

Its a cool game, i just find that i got bored during the betas far to quickly, although this newest beta has actually made me a little more interested, maybe its because the terrorist hunt for this beta is way better and more difficult. It also feels like they worked on the computer characters more and made them smarter, seen way more putting up reinforcements (even on normal), and doing things like jumping through windows and blowing walls.

1 回覆Gotta agree, it's definitely not for casuals. I luckily found a guy within the first day of the beta and he had a team of 3 so us 2 made 5, once we all got together we went through maybe 20 ranked games in the first day and won 18 of them. Teamwork is CRUCIAL. But there were also times where one of us with could run in with a LMG and kill their entire team in a matter of seconds if we were facing a bad team. Still getting Just Cause 3 first because the servers on Siege are utter garbage.

4 回覆I haven't gotten a chance to play the game yet, but I was really looking forward to it as a chance to play a methodical and strategic shooter. But I've watched a lot of videos on the classes for the game and I think some of the characters are just ridiculous. I mean, attaching something to a wall that basically shoots grenades into the room on the other side? Stuff like that is ridiculous. I would've been really interested in something less extreme. Just a swat team versus guys with a bomb or a hostage. Not Robocop versus Hydra.

Honestly, everything is going to be played by a lot of people, and some of those people will undoubtedly not like it. Just play what you want to play. Lot of people here don't do that, and it's part of the reason this forum site sucks.
