I'm seeing lots of denial and hostility here, and no actual constructive ideas on how to help this inevitable reality find its place quicker and easier.
Stop struggling America, you know I'm right. Just relax and accept it kids.

KEK. I don't have guns in my area so I'm good, never even seen one in person. You on the other hand, will have a child one day and your own flesh and blood will put a gun down your throat. Be alert at night an be alert on your streets cause if it's not you it can be your idiot neighbors kids that do it

Really necessary? Per last compiled CDC statistics in 2011 there are about 3.5 firearm homicides per 100,000 people. That's 0.00349%. Is that really epidemic? Is it intelligent to go through so much effort and deny 3.5 million people a basic right to effective self defense to try to drive that number lower? Would those efforts even succeed? It my feel like you should, it may feel like it would succeed, but remember that feelings are subjective and subjective reasoning is a horrible way to make decisions.

由Miharu_Tansho編輯: 10/12/2015 8:05:23 AMHaving a gun doesn't have to do with feeling better. Not any more than having a screwdriver or a multi tool does. You're projecting. Edit: And to address your first point. It is an acceptable number. Especially when compared to the other causes of preventable deaths. When compared to other non firearm homicides, which are about 1.5 per 100,000 it isn't much higher. It's not a perfect world and no amount of banning or legislating will make it that way.
