FFS, why couldn't Bungie have incorporated this into the actual game through storytelling/optional cut scenes. Would have been amazing and engrossing. The grimoire could have been available in the hall of guardians at a library/database kiosk so that you wouldn't feel bogged down by cut scenes during the main game - the vanguard/Eris could have suggested checking it out to understand/learn about Oryx etc.
