So this won't be very long, but I've noticed something lately as I've been playing Destiny and reading the Grimoire Cards. Have you ever bothered to actually look down over the ledge where ships pull in at the Tower at night. If you have, you'd notice that there are road-like lights and what appears to be a vibrant city below. We all know that Year One Destiny had plenty of story that went untold, but no one has really mentioned how the story right beneath our feet has not yet been told. Any playable area on Earth has always been somewhere in the Dead Zone. Now that the Traveler is supposedly healing in the midst of our Dreadnaught patrolling, it would be awesome to get a small glimpse of life in the great safe have that is the Last City. Even if only in a cutscene, it would be nice to get a fresh view that portrays exactly what Bungie had in mind when they created the Last City. It would also be nice to actually have some of the lore from the Grimoire continue into the game. Maybe continuing the Dr. Shim mystery, or finding out more about Jupiter and the Nine, or learning more about the Stranger and her role. Bungie has a lot to work with. I actually wouldn't be upset if they created an ongoing story in the written format that consolidates the lore, whether it would be a novel or even just a game guide complete with all of the characters and their back grounds in connection to one another. Just a thought.
