Get Gear upgrade notice but gear perk is not open
Having strange problem of gear upgrade doing bounties and strikes.
During or ending strike or on giving completed bounties to Xander/Petra, I get gear upgrade notice (symbol and sound), but when I go to Gears page to enable the perk in gear shown in notice - the perk is not even fully formed (not green circled). I guess I also saw once gear upgrade notice on one gear but upgrade was available on other one (but this could be cause two things upgraded at same time). It doesn't happen all the time but does happen. I'm note sure if it happened earlier too but it has happened after last patch.
Info-1: I am using Destiny Companion App (and Tower Ghost app) to change/exchange weapons between three alts. Could this issue be related?
Info-2: I don't have two same weapons or armor pieces in an alt, so I'm not confusing one gear for another.

I Beleive this is because of the game thinking like vanilla gear with and upgrade tree of up to 8 branches, when these 3 branch gear level up the game does like old gear and shows a perk + when you reach a certain amount if so.

2 回覆Ok so I we all have this and oh ace a theory So if you compare the HOW armour to the pre-HOW armour you will see that the old armour has more upgrade bubbles e.g. Amour upgrade so my theory goes like this The new armour has these upgrade bubbles within the bubbles and they act more like a mile stone if you will. As proof the next time you wear new armour from HOW take a look imedetly after a notification shows that an upgrade is available check it. The upgrade bubble will show only a quarter or half why to the actual upgrade.

3 回覆Is it a house of wolves peice of equipment? Cause if it is mine does that to it figure it's because with when they released house of wolves made it so you don't have to upgrade defense/light on armor and I'm not sure if this is correct but I think what you hear is the perk for the defense being leveled up and since house of wolves doesn't have those perk it just shows an upgrade even though there isn't one
