Must have 25 rank in Cryptarch? Must they even troll us when we make stuff up?

You use the word small to describe over 100 hours. Consider that it takes 2 and a half weeks to do that with a full time job. Now consider those of us working full time jobs or more. I work 40 hours a week, but used to work 70. Back then, I couldn't dream of the ranks you are listing.

But it's not like something you need to do as soon as it is released. It can take weeks as a new character but that's how grinding is. Atleast these are definite goals. I remember playing other MMOs, grinding out months for months for a single but famed weapon. To you, it might be a long time, to me, it might be a short time. Nonetheless, it's just a requirement that CAN be done. For ranking up factions, using bounties and the nightfall bonus, you can cut time by 50%. For cryptarch, well, you'll get engrams from farming your faction rep anyways.

I'm considering the update schedule. By the time the new dlc is released from the dlc this would come in, many casual players, the same ones who do complete raids, would still not finish these requirements. That makes this frustrating rather than satisfying. I'm thinking of the game experience as a whole, not just the experience of an elite few. That is what mercury is for.

Not to mention it is lazy game design, as a much better requirement would be more campaign missions (not calling this idea lazy, I understand it was thought up with the constraints Bungie and Activision would have put on creativity).
