I played a little mass effect and didn't like how narrow the choices are unlike other games.
However if this is true i'll consider buying it

I come from games like Baldur's Gate, Pillars of Eternity and Divinity Original Sin. Now those choices effect the game in major ways. Mass Effect choices, while sometimes meaningful and game changing, usually are done to make you feel like you are making a choice, when in reality it keeps the same way no matter what.
