So I decided to boot up D2, but it wanted me to install BattleEye to proceed.
I also use WeMod for some of my games; just old games like the Resident Evil ports, to mess around with once in a while. So I cancelled the install.
I want to hop back on, but I'm worried that simply having it installed on my PC could get me banned. I would never use that software with this game, and I've got years of work on my save, and I don't want to lose it just for having WeMod installed.
Am I safe to run D2, or do I need to uninstall WeMod all together before I proceed?

1 ReplyAllo there, As long as the software isn't running when destiny is then you're fine. The anti cheat software is only running when destiny is. So make sure if you've been playing those games and switch to destiny, that you quit those apps / programs.

some other guy said he got banned for using it so.. be careful and as the mod said, don't run it at the same time as deestiny 2 or you'll get banned.

You can use wemod for other game just fine kind of like why I mod in gta. But if I want to swap to destiny I shut all programs off or even shut off my pc and do a fresh boot to make sure nothing is going to interfere. You can have mod programs on your pc just don’t run them while playing destiny

To add on what Sonicfusion told you already, if I were you I'd reboot every time I want to play Destiny 2 to make 100% sure that WeMod is closed and not just stuck in memory, like it often happens with a lot of SW of that sort.
