Okay so I wanted to give my own opinion on boss fights after listening to the podcast, I think having something like what I think would be cool as well.
Like what you have to do with Atheon(I haven't done Crota yet), have it so you have to do a certain objective to even be able to do anything to the boss! Don't make it a puzzle though, make it an obvious but difficult objective sometimes. Like have this stealth Fallen Captain untouchable while invisible, but you take out this Servitor feeding him this invisibility to make him visible and be able to hurt him, he won't be too difficult to kill either, not a bullet sponge. Just a small objective that makes it harder, just with the idea I have you'd have to run around dodging the Captain while killing the servitor, give him some special abilities so he is tougher while invisible too.
This is just one Idea of a cool bossfight, but imagine these kind of fights! They would be dynamic and challenging! You could do this with the Nexus fight as well, except Sekrion is stationary and has a shield circling him or something.
Basically, have it be an obvious objective to attack a boss, THEN attack him.
What do you guys think? BBK? Ditty? Whoever else? Do you think this would be cool as well?

Focusing more on objective control and taking away massive bullet sponge bosses is a benefit strikes could use in my book. You're right, it would definitely make strikes more dynamic and strategic. Anything to move away from Phogoth-style bosses.
