Any chance we could buy Plasteel plating, Sapphire wire and Hadronic essence with marks???

I would like it, but also you can just grind Vanguard Roc for a while, get a load of engrams. Or if you're really desperate and have a lot of glimmer, just buy green armor from your class's Vanguard mentor and dismantle it.

Transfer those engrams to the character you need materials for and THEN decode and dismantle. All armors will become specific to that class, regardless of which character found them.

I need to sell some, i have thousand. I think we just need a currency exchange. And set glimmer values for each type. And you sell for 75% of what you can buy for. This would give everything you obtain in the world value.

You can, just buy Vanguard/Crucible armor and dismantle it. It's much more efficient to just spend glimmer at the Cryptarch, though. (You can buy gear from the vanguard mentor for glimmer, but with the Cryptarch you get Rep, too.)

I'm with that id rather buy upgrade materials for glimmer im tired of doing farming runs over and over. I'd also be nice if you could earn them in the crucible based on which map you were on I'd do a whole lot more crucible if I didn't basically get blue weapons and armor always that I don't need. With raid weapons and armors I generally don't need legendaries most of the time that almost never get dropped anyway( tho once in a while a legendary drops with badazz perks) if I could get filiments, blooms ect. It'd be a whole lot more with it

Just patrol the cosmodrome for a few minutes. You'll get plenty of drops.

I agree, I made a Hunter on Saturday now all I need for 32 is sapphire wire, I have to farm glimmer to buy uncommon gear

I think its easier to just buy uncommon gear from vanguards and then dismantle them

Disagree, but mostly because I suspect it would be implemented by replacing our ability to trade marks for planetary mats. Otherwise, it seems like a not-crazy quality of life improvement, excepting that they should be sold for glimmer, not marks.
