Pathetic, none of you are legit raiders
At least many of you. How do I know? I posted for a crota fresh run for anyone not wearing vanguard or faction gear aka gear given to you by bungie allowing you to skip the atheon raid. It's been 30 minutes and only person who joined is wearing full faction gear lmao my posts have slowly gotten more douche baggy over the weeks. Adding more restrictions each week and this restriction was the first that couldn't be even close to being met.
If you have 3 different classes and have a piece of vangaurd or faction gear ok w/e but if you have 2 of the same class you should have full raid gear for atheon or iron banner lvl 30 gear if you have been playing remotely consistently (say 1 raid every 2 weeks from launch) and if you bought vangaurd/faction gear as a level 30 (annd weren't the sword bearer) you wasted your time.

The question
If you were lvl 30, pre crota, and you weren't a sword guy, why take 4 steps backwards (4 pieces of vangaurd or faction gear) when you can simply do ce at your current lvl 30 and achieve lvl 31 via 1 single piece of raid armor from the new raid ?

At no point did I say to put your vog gear back on geniuses. I'm showing how vangaurd and faction gear is utterly pointless.
1 piece of raid gear gets you from 30 to 31 and maxes at 32
3 pieces of vangaurd gear gets you to lvl 31 and maxes at 31
So if you were your average 30, getting lvl 31 through vangaurd or faction was pointless.

Mostly done responding to this post. I'm an ass yea but half a dozen people below all dropped their tag for me or asked for mine because they know I won't waste their time and wipe several dozen times per checkpoint.
Are you bad for wearing vangaurd gear? No, but it says a lot about you depending on your playtime. Good luck scrub raiders who can't hang !

16 отв.I totally agree, all you half asses gamers with families and jobs and real lives to live outside of Destiny should stay and stop playing...you can't dedicate at least 20 hours a day then just stop....wtf are you playing for?...you don't deserve to look upon Crota or Aetheon.....all who don't have full raid gear should shard their entire vault and delete their guardian.....I for one will shard all my exotics and raid gear and hope that one day I will meet your lofty expectations

I had my lvl 30 lock but didn't see any point wasting some precious material points to get up one level. I made myself useful to a CE team got 2 pieces of gear and was set. Doesn't make sense to do it any other way.

3 отв.I deleted my aetheon raid gear because I'm out of room in my vault and on my warlock. Used to have 3 locks, then deleted them for a titan and hunter, which I got to 31 right off the bat with faction gear. I've run vog a couple times on those toons, but delete the gear when I get it because it does me no good. Does that make me a scrub? Guarantee I've beaten the raids just as many times as you have, if not more. Your request for VOG gear is invalid at this point for those of use who have faction and CE gear. No point in hanging on to inferior gear just to appease a request...

My poor Warlock hasn't been graced with CE boots yet so he's stuck wearing faction boots. However, that's okay with me due to having 20+ more raid completions than you so I think I can live with those boots for another few days. :)

1 ответI got level 30 on my characters from doing the VOG. Yet I still wore faction gear when the doc dropped because I wanted 31 as quick as possible. Some people just wanna be 31 and don't care if they look a certain way with the VOG gear.

Lmfao I waited to do the raid I had full Vog gear by Tuesday after I had full 31 gear and my clan re run the raid and I beat Crota. Got no gear except sword breaker. Then nothing but arms on second Titan. Then lock got boots and gloves. He was also 31 starting it. I no longer use sword as I have most heavy synth. Don't judge a book by its cover I spent the last day making sure I could rank up and had 200 marks. My clan was running to figure it out while I did all this the first day. We beat him 3 times first day.
