ITS THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT, YOU NEED TO USE AMMO BUT CANT GET A FREE SECOND.
SOLUTION.
by pressing and holding B(XBOX) O(PLAYSTATION) a ammo menu appears then by pressing left, right or up on the directional pad, you can select your ammo quickly.
anyone else see the use in this?

pull out ghost.
(d-pad navigation)
down=chat toggle
left=primary ammo
up=secondary ammo
right=heavy ammo
once you select a ammo source, your ghost is dismissed and the sound is heard.
does this seem non conflicting/button overkill/time effective?

1 ответI think it's an excellent idea and I'm very glad you posted about this. It makes me wonder, though, if Bungie intentionally set things up to require you to go into the inventory area to make it more difficult to use. It's not supposed to be something you can easily pop like candy during a fight and there's supposed to be a cost associated in terms of what it takes to use one. Maybe they want you to stop fighting for a minute and get somewhere safe briefly before you use one. I'm not trying to say I agree or disagree with that position; I'm just considering the possibility there's a game design decision behind the lack of what is clearly a tremendously useful shortcut.

8 отв.Why not just keep it simple? Tap X (currently the purpose) reload.. Hold X - use synth for currently held weapon... keep the current reload button also related to ammo..

They need to incorporate this. Go to menu, press up or down while on the item you plan to use quickly. This doesn't need to be limited to ammo synth.

3 отв.I like the idea, I just think there's a faster way to do it. And a pop up menu would still be kind of annoying. The idea I have, which I've had since I first entered the VoG is: if you're ADS, press up on your d-pad (for as long as it normally takes to activate a synth) and have a synth that goes with your currently equipped weapon, it'll use the synth. It could even make the noise when you use it to know you've held "up" long enough. I just think that's faster than a pop-up menu and sometimes, seconds count in a raid.

Actually, it would be nice if they included the D pad for things like this. One thing in Warframe that was nice was they used every single button on the PS4 controller, including the center touchpad.I was wondering why the controls are so limited in Destiny.

I like the ghost option but prefer the D pad be used as a weapon selection. Perhaps D pad up or down could pop an amo synth based on the weapon type you have equipped. D pad left or right to filter through your inventory.

4 отв.Umm I think it would be nice if BUNGIE could apply the HEAVY ammo synth I used before we REALLY confuse them with slightly more difficult requests.... Has anyone else had this issue? You use the heavy ammo synth, you hear the sound, but NO ammo?! Its happened to me > 5x, and I have heard someone else say the same thing happened to them, so I cannot be the only one experiencing this issue. Which leads me to my next point, if bungie cant fix this simple issue I have than how could we EVER expect a company as incompetent as Bungie to implement your idea, which is a great idea BTW.
