Those of us who did it legit spent 7-10 hours on the raid the first time. We learned to communicate, practiced our timing and finally after hours of frustration took down Crota.
The reason people are frustrated against those that CHEAT not cheese is because they didn't have to put in the work in order to get the gear. They just cheat the game and get the same loot as those that put in the time. To top it off we then have to hear people come up with lame excuses on why cheating is OK.
That is why I care what other people do, because the time I put in should be worth something otherwise it cheapens the entire experience. I partially blame Bungie for letting it happen but mostly I am disappointed in the players.
Edit - I wish there was meta data attached to posts like age, income, gender, etc. It would be interesting to see how responses correlate.
Edit 2 - For those saying get a life, why do you care, why so serious. I say it is possible to care about something and not spend every waking moment thinking about it. It's not like I go to bed worrying about what other people do. It's just an interesting discussion topic with a wide variety of opinions. Using critical thinking and having a discussion on a topic that at the end of day doesn't really matter is about the same as watching videos of cats on reddit..... lol. Lots of way to waste time at work....
Edit 3 - Obviously this just a video game so exploiting isn't lawfully wrong. Morality is another issue. Of course it is also a matter of severity and damage caused. Again this is a video game so in many eyes there is a who cares attitude. I just choose to draw my line differently than other people. That wasn't my original argument but I feel like the journey should be worth something and want other people to have my same view. That is wrong and I shouldn't force my views on other people and really how can you do that on a forum but I would be willing to bet that most people are on forums to feel validated and have our beliefs confirmed. Obviously that blew up in my face. haha.
Thanks everyone for your inputs.

"The time I put in should be worth something." So, the meaningfulness of your actions are completely dependent on what other people do, then? LOL YOU should care what YOU do and know that you got something out of your experience. Dragging others down with names and whining just shows jealousy and immaturity. If you don't like "cheating", then don't do it and carry on with your life. /thread

Are you saying you're "too legit to quit"? 2 legit 2 legit 2 quit! Crap, now it's stuck in my head...

9 отв.Изменено (davidghosler): 12/23/2014 3:47:59 AMValid indeed. It took you 7-10 hours legit? Holy shit are you that bad? I did it legit the first time and took our team about 2 hours . You probably should have cheesed the raid to save time.lol

6 отв.I made a post earlier about the cheating. My post was trending at top for the longest time. The only thing I learned from this community is they praise cheating, and attack those who call for fair play. We are stuck with simpletons. Nothing we can do about but keep our integral roots

Meta data ?? That's not creepy at all...

25 отв.The key word is time. U could put 7 hours on the raid but I can't. I have far better things to do then playing video games.
and when destiny 2 comes out--- u will be telling yourself "why did I put countless hours on the first destiny?
1 ответИзменено (zergjoke): 12/23/2014 4:04:43 AMtheres a very huge diffrence between cheesing and cheating, and really it doesnt affect you, after all their just using their brains to get the same gear your trying to get. just faster. If you want this to go away, start telling bungie to fix their loot system, because people cheese because their not going to waste 6 hours to get a shit brown spaceship.

7 отв.so what about the ppl that cheesed atheon by pushing him off? everyone has done it even if it was once.
-
Изменено (A FILTHY NUT): 12/23/2014 4:06:33 AMIt takes less time to cheese it. Simple. I beat it legitimately in 5 hours my first run. Now I can do it in 20 or 30 mins with the right people, but it takes around 10 to cheese it with ransoms. So what the hell (because of this I was able to beat it with my lv 27 warlock).
-
I don't think you should be mad at the players...bungie left the option there. It seems like human nature to take the easier path. Evolutionary even? If everyone else is cheesing and is going to get to 32...what benefit is there to doing it the "legit" way? If Bungie cared they would patch it ASAP

You put time in to something that won't matter when you die errgo a job at Kroger or anything else so let me use an example here. I work 20 hrs this week my friend works 18 but gets paid the same why dosent my time equal his because he got a raise and I didn't same thig let them do what they want it won't matter in 10 years
-
Efficiency. Why spend 7 hours with a group of strangers you will likely never group with again (unless the moon and stars align perfectly ... or unless you are a bunch of college kids without a job) just for a new ship?
-
Question. So would all those people who put videos up of them doing the raid explaining how to get through each part be puttin the cheese out for everyone? Would the people who watch the videos, who have never been in the raid, to learn about it before going in be "cheesing" it? After all, they didn't put in the hours that the video makers did. Just shut it Meg! Go stand in a corner.

4 отв.Why even cheese him!!? He's simple as hell to beat! Go to middle room, have sword guy follow you down, kill him, get sword hit Crota Fire rockets, repeat
-
29/male.... I think cheating is stupid but I couldn't care less if someone did it
-
I imagine if you wanted all the time you spent to be worth something you wouldnt have wasted it playing a video game.

1 ответИзменено (Ghost): 12/23/2014 3:31:52 AMI wasn't going to comment... Until I read your edit saying you wish meta data was attached to posts. Thats -blam!-ing creepy bro why would I want you, a complete stranger, to know my age, INCOME, and gender, etc. Thats just -blam!-ing wrong
-
I do what is fastest. Ive done both raids completely legit and ive done them cheesed to shit etc. Whatever gets me to the end goal the fasted is what im gonna do and you probably should too. They need to patch out these issues because they are beyond pathetic and show a major lack of simple testing. Also the crota cheat is their fault too, give us dedicated servers and this wouldn't be an issue whatsoever.

3 отв.Bill Gates always gives his most difficult jobs to lazy people because they find an easier way of doing it. It is called working smarter not harder. Deal with it.
-
If what people do in a video game bothers you, especially if you wasn't in the game the thing that bothered you happened, you must not be well adjusted in real life.

Do they get an exception? If so, how do your reconcile the lack of argument consistency? Personally, I don't care how people do it in general. I just like to know beforehand, so if my intentions are to do it legitimately I don't have to waste my time with those who do not. The reverse is of course true as well. In either instance I don't see why it's a big deal... what's more concerning is the lack of courteous communication. Just my opinion.

If people want to cheese it then big deal man. Does it effect you in any way shape or form? NO. Does anyone not benefit from cheesing? No. Did anyone get hurt or die in the process? Hell no. So do your own thing and stop complaining.
-
Dude if they should find a way of patching all the cheesing, I promise you all these cheesers will look to experienced raiders to carry them though.
