how much money did bungie burn yesterday?
Personally I am now not buying the dlc and will probably trade the game - thus losing bungie sales. This is because they are deleting our exotic progress on Tuesday and forcing us all to start from scratch if we want our exotics to be practical moving forward.
Who else is now spending their money elsewhere and giving up the game?
Many are complaining about the time it will take to re-level exotics. No no no no no. I've spent hours upgrading my exotics but doing that again is NOT MY COMPLAINT!
The problem is that our effort has literally been deleted because you do not need to have levelled the gun in order to evolve it to the next level.
If you needed your gun to be fully levelled before you could upgrade it i would actually be excited for this as the added power would mean we could finish the strikes faster
They have done it this way so that new players can immediately catch up with those further in the game. I have a couple of un-levelled exotics (bad juju, last word, truth, and that crappy bounty machine gun) and I'm glad I never spent the time to level them! This is not right
This is what we need to complain about: Bungie need to make it so that a weapon has to be fully upgraded before we can increase the level like this. One voice people!
Edit: because some people failed reading comprehension, let me state that of course I know that nobody is holding a gun to our heads making us upgrade, but if we want our guns to remain practical to use we will need to do this, even if not immediately.

4 отв.They aren't resetting you back to 277.. Your base will be 300 the reset is for the perks.. To balance it You will still have your max attack from before.. Just not the perks. You build the perks back up and raise your attack to 323

3 отв.What are you guys fricking whining about? You should be happy that your gallyhorn will still be a viable option in the expansion. I figured all my exotics were going to end up being worthless. Every peice of gear you get in the expansion you're gonna have to start from the beginning on. It would be stupid to let you start the xpac with exotics that are almost all the way maxed out.

17 отв.Your effort isn't being deleted. Do some research. You have to wait for xur to show up then you trade your exotic, a shard; and 7k glimmer for an upgraded version at 300 atk/def

I'm angry about it too, I've written many nasty posts arguing with everyone around the board. That being said: suck it up, Nancy. There are so many GREAT changes that Bungie has actually implemented that you should not be leaving just because your progress has been reset. A stronger story, strikes and raids connected to that story, sliding scale exotics, higher difficulty raid, involved PvP maps... so just deal with it. We know for the future to only upgrade the exotics we need and not everything.

2 отв.Seriously? Your view is ridiculous. The "New" exotic coming from Xur will be 1.....let me repeat 1 attack power LESS than your full upgraded existing exotic. Instead of starting at 260 to get to 300, you start at 299 to get to 323. Wow........what's the big deal? This is a game of progression. It has MMO "ASPECTS". MMO's require some sort of reset on new level caps. Hell......in COD....Yes....a FPS, your weapons are reset after they prestige. Where is the people crying about that? Here, you use 7,000 glimmer 7 strange coins and a exotic shard ONCE a week. Big deal. People need to get past this "Something for nothing" mentality.

I love uninformed idiots who post things.... They are not deleting everyones progress on exotics. You can choose to reset your progress when xur comes. If you dont wanna restart then you dont have to, but your exotic will never have more damage than and will become useless over time with more DLC's. Stop crying and actually read things....

My god. Bungie is not resetting our exotics. They are giving us the [b]option[/b] to reset the perks on our exotics to upgrade the attack/defense to the new minimum (which is the current maximum.) All you crybabies need to do your research before QQing it up on the forums and claiming to be "losing Bungie sales."
