Scout rifles should be a two shot kill weapon in pvp ( headshot)
I was using one today that was 240 damage and it took far longer to kill some one then my auto rifle or pulse rifle.
Make them a two shot head shot kill weapon. That makes it a balance between sniper rifles! One shot one kill weapon and a auto rifle, after all they are designed for marksmen :)

Thank you! This is the wag I feel. Auto Rifles: Close to medium range, obviously an assault rifle, more of a spray weapon, should have a smaller caliber round with that fire rate. I shouldn't get killed by an auto rifle halfway across the map. Pulse Rifle: this is the classic battle rifle. Medium caliber round, medium to long range, more precision weapon but obviously better at medium range. In a dual vs an auto rifle user at medium range the pulse rifle user should slaughter the auto rifle user, however if you miss your shots Mr auto rifle is probably gonna win. This weapon requires more skill. Scout Rifle: This is your classic designated marksmen rifle. High caliber round, medium to longer ranges. Pure precision weapon, could compete with a sniper yet at the same time not quite. This weapon is reserved for the skilled. In a dual with an auto rifle user at medium or long range you will win. If you lose, well it's because you suck. The point I'm trying to get across is, I should get killed halfway across the map from an auto rifle. My scout should kill you in 3 to 4 headshots. But instead the scout is probably the weakest primary in the game, while nooby auto rifle users get the strongest weapon in the game and all they have to do is hold down the trigger and spray. It's very frustrating and I feel scout rifles need a buff.

I don't think the point of weapons is to make them all the same kill speed. I think it's to make them effective at different ranges. The AR will do nothing at long distance, whereas the scout will. The issue is map design not forcing players into open areas.

Right now (some) hand cannons are three, and I don't know about scout rifles. I don't know why scout rifles were nerfed after the beta, people hardly used them in PvP and they seemed weak even back then.

First off damage rating has no bearing on PvP unless its the iron banner. Second A two shot kill would be insanely over powered. Scouts do need a small buff but the biggest issue right now is the insane killing power of auto rifles.

What are you talking about? Four quick head shots and they're done. I do well with the scout rifles all the time even against autos and pulses. Maybe get more accurate :p

Scout rifles got nerfed way 2 hard,utterly useless Now. And this is coming from an AR addict :p

Try get the exotic scout rifle lol I got out gunned so many times with that, and I have an auto gun with 242 attack. (Rare)
