First off, to all the kids out there complaining about not being able to raid because they don't have five friends to play with and want to have raid matchmaking... just stop. Maybe there's a reason you're lacking friend requests. Bungie created a great game and by no means should they have to hold your hand and lead you to the promised land of goods and glory. You're going to have to do a little work, stop your corpse humping and develop of few friendships in the universe Bungie has provided. That aside, for the friendly souls out there that still can't seem to muster up enough 26's to access the raid content you have a couple options. 1: Go to the internet and use the emerging group finding sites to connect with other people. 2: Use Bungie forums like this one. [b]3: Create a place in game where 26+ players go to find groups and/or wait for invites.[/b] Now, maybe I'm off my rocker but #3 to me seems pretty easy to do but I'm sure I'll catch a ton of flack from people saying... "there's no blam-ing way I'm just going to stand around waiting for an invite to a raid when I could be doing blah blah..." Well you're absolutely right. That would be quite boring. OR, it could also get you invited to a raid. If anyone reading this was around for the beginning years of Everquest, do you remember going to the East Commons to buy/sell/trade your items? For anyone that didn't play Everquest, the players in that game collectively decided to go to ONE area in the game to do their trading. They had a problem and created a solution that didn't need new lines of code. Maybe we could do something similar in Bungie's world. Like say, go to that mysterious cantina of a basement room in the Hangar section of the Tower and wait for a group to invite you OR go there yourself and invite 5 others.
