This is ridiculous. Some friends and I are playing the moon strike and we have been at it for hours. We cant take cover anywhere because all viable spots are either in a hole or have 15 A.I. spawn there after about 10 seconds. We either need weapons that do 10x damage, or you need to severely reduce the A.I. spawning. Please...please...PLEASE fix this boss battle.

1 ответThis is my strategy that has let me stay alive, and still contribute a crap ton to my group and the overall success. When you enter the boss room, go to the left, kill the thralls, and stay in that row. Don't go up the stairs, stay near the back, in between the light yellow area an the open area (with the giant rock in the corner). Now this is how I handle every single strike where I have to think instead of run and gun. Clear out the adds that come to you. DON'T START RUNNING ACROSS THE ROOM TRYING TO PULL EVERYTHING, YOU WILL GET SHOT, AND YOU WILL DIE! Instead, let them come to you, take them out as they aggro on you, and get some hits in on the boss when possible. So far, every boss has a cooldown between having adds spawn, that's when you let loose for a bit (ie rocket launcher spam). Don't go crazy and leave your cover. You want to be close in case you get caught by surprise. There are adds that will appear literally out of thin air, and it may get you killed. Keep clearning adds, and whittling down the boss. Keep close together, also. Nothing sucks more than 2 people in a corner handling their shit, and that midgets voice says "Guardian Down", and he's on the other side of the map. Then you gotta stop what you're doing, clear a path, and pick them up, and pray you don't get wiped. This is another reason I really think they need to have automatic voice chat when you're matchmade with others. Communication makes the game so much easier (I know, surprising, right?). Oh, and something I learned a huge lesson on last night, although I'm surprised I forgot from my GW2 days, but bring multiple damage type weapons, and/or multiple weapon types. Did Devils Lair on 26 whatever with -blam!-ing 3X arc damage, and I never realized just how much homing those shock pistols have. Now, I always keep a sniper rifle with me (albeit it's shit), and an arc weapon at least. Seriously, -blam!-ing arc damage man.... Anyway, I know it's a long post, but I hope it helps a bit. Hell, depending on the level, I can join you if you're on the PS4.

You just suck

Played it today for the first time. I can't remember how many times I died. If you get caught in the freakin' entrance you just can't get out in order to move. I played with competent randoms and one rage quit but two of us finally beat the big freak in the end, I'm glad I took extra ammo for my rocket launcher though. I think they need to tone down the different enemies, every enemy in the game is in that one room, or so it seems, it's hard to tackle ground based and air based ones at the same time. It's also a big jump up from Septic Tank Prime.

1 ответI thought the difficulty was perfect. Possible to beat but just enough to make you rage quit and try again later. That strike has been my most satisfying moment of the game so far!

Me and a team did it.
-
Besides the fact that all bosses are sponges.
-
I felt it wasn't hard enough, tbh.
-
Just takes time. A lot of time.
-
Yea man, sorry to say but your team just sucks. Phogoth is annoying yea, but if you have a good fireteam he really isn't that bad.
-
Let's not make this like wow. This game isn't supposed to be a faceroll game. It takes skill/luck and a lot of effort. If anything, make it all harder.
-
No offense but you just need to level up. It's tough but not very hard. Be patient and coordinate with your team and you will be ok.

You just suck.

1 ответИзменено (MLGxJ0SHUA): 9/14/2014 1:37:46 AMSorry there isn't a weinie hut jr. Difficulty for you. If you can't survive the moon, how will you expect to survive the raids? P.S. The moon is easy if you clean up the extras with some crowd control before focusing on phogoth

2 отв.I love a challenge, glad it's challenging and not easy

1 ответDrop the adds they stop coming after 4-5 waves. Granted the waves get really nasty. Lots of wizards.
-
If you stay in the entrance room outside the boss, have one person that focuses on the minions coming in and the other two firing at the boss. Alternate because the one killing the minions will get lots of heavy ammo
-
1 ответIt's not that bad if you keep moving. Staying in one spot gets you killed.
-
The boss is really just a thorn in your ass, keep moving, kill the knights and Wizards, and you'll be OK
-
I've beaten this strike mission a dozen times my stragety is KEEP MOVING JUMP TO DOGDE TAKE OUT ALL GRUNTS THEN FOCUS ON THE BOSS
-
Try doing the level 26 one with all the modifiers turned on :(
-
It doesn't need nerfing. The enemies do actually stop spawning and it just takes being aware of what is around you and making sure nothing gets up behind you
-
1 ответI beat it with two randoms in under 30 mins and it takes so long because you can get jade rabbit from it.
-
Just be patient and focus on the small enemies when they spawn. Trust me once you've done it a couple times it won't seen so bad.
-
Adds>boss always keep the room clear this is true for any boss. Nothing In this is impossible you just need to learn how to play no offense.
