Hehe ... During the beta test run a programer(s) left a soccer ball and what looked like purple beach ball in the tower area for we gamers to interact with. So many of us did and kicked and push them around. Quite a following as it turned out running around playing with both, just having a giggle between forerays back out into the game. All the board chatter and the unusual psuedo-religious postings are the same deal, just passing the time having fun. One of the users started calling themselves the ball after talk on what the ball could possibly be or represent. In the spirit of crazy we have been adding to it having fun along the way, each adding their little bit. Now the soccer ball, hmmm, this was setup by some bright spark, hats off to him/her, as an opposite to the fictional Holy Purple Ball, hence the appearance of light (Destiny) the Purple Ball as against the dark(enemy in game) soccer ball.We have been making it up as we go along and trying to give it some common story thread so it won't be a totally indecipherable. There is even a joke clan page Church of The Purple Ball. Last I looked 17 members etc. So that's it in a nutshell :o) Read a few of the convo's to get an idea of the crazy pball vs soccerb and by all means join in the fun. The more the merrier.;o)
