The Flood were able to single handly defeat the greatest empire the galaxy has ever seen.
The Necromorphs can't kill Issac for the life of them.

The necromorphs can't kill Issac, the flood can't kill Master Chief, both were created by a ancient alien race. Still, the flood would win.
-
One is a engineer. One is a engineered super soldier bred to kill since the age of six.
-
One is a engineer.
With powered armor and weapons more powerful than anything John's ever held in his life, barring forerunner tech.
-
The Flood at full potential have the ability to use Star Roads...
Star Roads, along with all other Precursor technology, are immortal constructs which can ONLY be destroyed by Halos because they cancel out neural physics - the means through which Precursors build their shit. Star Roads could move entire stars across galaxies, connect entire solar systems together, and wipe out anything with ease - the Greater Ark and Omega Halo are both shredded to pieces in a matter of seconds by Star Roads in the penultimate battle of the Forerunner-Flood war. Also, Star Roads distort time, space and matter around them. They are able to shut off access to slipspace, and can send whole fleets into alternate dimensions.
Necromorphs stand absolutely no chance. And John has handled weapons far superior to a plasma cutter. If you think thats true at all your being ignorant.

It's been agreed on that they only get precursor tech if OP specifies, or if it's a stomp match without it. Besides, it's not even their weaponry.
John has handled weapons far superior to a plasma cutter.
Forerunner tech, sure. Nothing the UNSC or Covenant have, barring the Splaser or fuel rod gun, are as powerful as the cutter. It was made to burn through far tougher materials than his armor, or Covenant armor, or somesuch.
-
Nothing is there weaponry... John has access to covenant cruisers that can glass entire planets. Much stronger than burning through metal.
-
John has access to covenant cruisers that can glass entire planets
...No he doesn't. He can't even pilot them.
-
Yes he can. Fred, Linda and Will were able to successfully pilot one to Onyx, he could as well.
-
If he could, why didn't he take over the Truth and Reconciliation and glass the Covenant on Halo?
-
It would have contradicted the story and would have made the gameplay very boring. Same reason High Charity didn't wipe out Humanity when he reached Earth.
-
Or, more likely, he doesn't have the foggiest idea how the ships work and didn't feel like learning in-field.
-
the flood are precursors, or did you not read forerunner saga? The Gravemind AKA the Primordial is a precursor intelligence that was transformed into a gravemind in order to take out the forerunners.
-
The flood used to be precursors. They aren't anymore.
-
the originl Gravemind IS, he's still a hold of the original Precursor AI and thus should still be able to access star roads should he ever enter the galaxy.
-
He does? Are you referring to Mendicant Bias? Because that was a forerunner AI. Do the precursors even have AI? Anyway, the Gravemind in the games is a different one from the Graveminds during the forerunner-flood war.
-
ok, let me break it down, 343 spark (fake one) and a marine crew stumbled on the timeless one, a corrupted precursor husk, and inquired on what info it had left, and it said that the Flood ARE precursor, the 343 they're with isn't the real one, and explained that the original gravemind was the result of a last ditch effort to halt forerunner war efforts, Precursors were driven out of galaxy, flood says "sup" and ends forerunners. then they find out that the precursors still live somehow thorugh the flood even now, and the crew ends up slaughtered, keep in mind this is off memory and I'm tired as -blam!-, I'll fix errors tomorrow.

Изменено (Lord Keksworth): 5/28/2014 3:01:59 AMMainly because they needed him alive in the first two games, and he was well-equipped to fight them. Keep in mind, one regular necromorph killed an entire military ship on its own in the first game. The necromorphs are hardcore.
