What is your opinion on capitalists?
Capital[u]ists[/u], not capitalism itself.
I personally think that the great majority of them are either brainwashed or too unintelligent to recognize the reality that they would live better lives if they lived under socialism. Only about a small percentage of capitalists could consider themselves intelligent as only those rare few benefit better under capitalism (but it also takes a lack of empathy for future generations since capitalism is unsustainable, by definition).
Realistically, if wages were standardized and equalized, about 75% of Americans would have more income. And that would only be the initial affect of it. By making economic decisions on a societal level instead of having many economic decisions made on the individual level, we could actually accomplish large goals like environmental protection and space exploration, but because this is capitalism only a small percentage of the top richest control the decisions of the country, and they're not concerned about these things because they do not benefit them directly.
Anyway, that's my rant/opinion. Do you think most capitalists are generally unaware of their own demise or does capitalism somehow work?

17 отв.Socialism sounds good in theory, but when tested with other nations in the past, leads to nothing but shoddy work because their is no incentive to be the best. Capitalism is nothing but Economic Darwinism. Nobody complains when the lion tears the poor little lambs throat out. But merely accept that what is, is what is. And let's face it barely anybody in this forum has even done any form of blue color work. This is coming from a 16 year old by the way.
