With the next gen out it having been experienced, many are saying that its not anything special. But then people say that developers are not using the console to their full potential like in Battlefield 4 only using 2 cores of the full 8 on the consoles. Do you guys think that Bungie will be able to pull off the game on both gens of consoles, and have it be worth while to play on a next gen console?

Once engineers learn how to extract the full potential of both consoles you'll start to see games you haven't seen before... engines will evolve, they will find new techniques to optimize and make games look even better, it happens every console cycle.

Just as the last games of the past generation began to push the limits, so it shall be with this generation. And that's my opinion on this

Bungie have said that their engine is capable of optimizing the game for each console to take full advantage of each consoles strengths, but you never know. I put more faith in the first party devs for each console to be able to push the respective consoles to their limits more than a third party dev, especially with this game being cross-gen. If Bungie drops the PS3 and 360 and from the development cycle of Destiny 2 I could see them pushing the new hardware more.
