Xbox One restricting Destiny?
TO BE CLEAR
These comments are made out of observation, no person opinion was inflicted.
I'm sure by now we all know how superior the Playstation 4's are to the Xbox one, (not fanboying, Fact) As we are aware Destiny is coming out on 4 platforms, as of confirmed now they are PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, we can presume that when Destiny 2 comes out in 2016 That it will almost certainly skip the Current gen consoles, With the Xbox One having 'Inferior' Hardware to the PS4's will the PS4 version of Destiny have to be downgraded to make it look even on both consoles? Your thoughts?
NOTE: I will be buying Both consoles, Xbox one for Forza 5
And PS4 for Destiny

1 ответActually, the Xbox One is more powerful. While it's hardware is inferior people keep forgetting that part of the game runs from the cloud, putting less strain on the system itself. That means cooler console (temperature) and better graphics/ lighting/ colors.

2 отв.Lol no fanboying Starts thread asking if ps4 version will need a "dumbing down" Hasn't considered the life of destiny and which population will be larger and advance faster I could blind fold test you and almost promise you couldn't pick out which is which consistently. Unless you have an 8 series Samsung or 4k w/ upscaling you will never see a difference.

Did Dice and Infinity Ward downgrade their games so their games can look visually similar on both consoles? Answer this and you can draw your conclusion from there.

The differences between the consoles have been greatly exaggerated. The two systems are not that different. Plenty of developers have come out and supported that. And i could say the same thing about the ps4 holding destiny back in terms of online services. Playstation doesn't have nearly as many servers as Xbox, which will have about as much of a difference as the power will (not very much). There are trade offs for both. We've all seen how far games have come since the release of current gen. There is plenty of power in both systems. Look at the 360 and ps3 games, ps3 looks a little bit better but hardly noticeable. Point being, destiny won't be held back by any one system.

I don't know much about the differences between the consoles this generation, but I don't think you should really worry about it. This is new hardware built to last ten years, I'm sure current games are only scratching the surface of the new generation's potential.

2 отв.Since when is "Destiny 2" a thing that is coming out in 2016. They said they're making this game last 10 years and I doubt there will be a sequel seeing as they can expand the story for 10 years.

I just want to express my opinion by saying the following: I think saying one console is better than another one isn't realistic or objective. Cause everyone has different needs and likes, so depends on perspective both consoles outmatch the other. I am more inclined to getting Xbox One because of my game preferences and cause of the voice and sign commands. Yeah I don't give a shit if I am being "watched"... But for others the PS4 is better and more convenient, so I think there should not be winner of the console war, not even by "facts" :P Sorry I didn't know where else to post this haha had the saddens urge to express myself lol

2 отв.The specs of then xbox one and ps4 are near identical, the ps4 is just that tiniest bit more powerful which basically doesn't make a difference on performance, at all.

6 отв.the only real big difference I see between the consoles is that Xbox live is going to be free but PlayStation live is going to cost money... I find it ironic and this may have changed since I last checked but other than that the hard/software of the 2 systems is really quite similar and we shouldn't see many differences between the gameplay on either system

4 отв.If they're devoting so many resources to make these games the best they can be on all 4 consoles, what makes you think they're gonna make the PS4 version be of less quality because of some other console's limitations? That completely defeats the point of having a team dedicated to each platform. It's also been confirmed that the game will run differently depending on which console it's played on. You need not worry. Getting Xbone btw, PS4 controller can suck it.
