Well I think its worth noting its easy to say the PS4 controller feels superior because we are comparing it to the PS3 controller. And then we are comparing the Xbox One controller to the 360 controller.
I tried both and I felt the Xbox One controller feels a lot like a 360 controller. While, the PS4 controller feels superior to the PS3 controller (I think the whole "Duel Shock" baloney is another Sony marketing gimmick so I hate when people call the PS4 controller DS4). The guys in the video does a good job and stressing personal preference and I heavily agree with him. If you struggle using a PS3 controller due to the position of the analog sticks then the PS4 controller will also feel awkward using until you get used to it.

They've been calling it the DualShock for years.

Изменено (iGraviton): 10/12/2013 8:02:38 PMHow is calling it the DualShock a gimmick? Sony's been calling their controller the DualShock since 1997.
-
It's just a controller... It's like sega saying the sega genesis had "blast processing."
-
Изменено (nao): 10/12/2013 9:42:02 PMI actually like that the controller has a name. DS4 is easier to say than "the PS4 controller" or "the Xbox One controller".
-
That's the name of the controller genius. You're pretty much saying Why did Sony name it's controller this name? There's a big difference between saying your hardware does/has something than there is NAMING it.
-
I still fail to see how naming your controller is a gimmick.
-
I just find it annoying. Its a controller, not some must have accessory nonsense.
-
Actually it is a must have accessory! Lol you can't play system without it :)

Изменено (iGraviton): 10/13/2013 12:58:03 AMIt's a peripheral. The Xbox controller is literally the only peripheral I can think of that doesn't have a name. If anything, the Xbox controller not having a name should be annoying. I know it annoys me.

I find it amazing that everyone who commented on my post did so because I thought the name "DS4" was silly. You guys need to find something else to do.
