It's been answered.
So I just pre-ordered the X1 from Xbox Live and I was wondering when I get charged for it. The party I was in one of the people were saying you don't get charged for it until it gets shipped out to you. So I was wondering what he said is true.

You don't get charged till its shipped. But your bank or credit card could hold the money till then.

You need to read the terms with the website to find that out. I know that for retailers like Amazon, they do not charge until the product ships, but Xbox Live may not be like this.
