Superman would win
-
You mean Thor would win. Supes has a weakness to magic and Thor's entire power set is magic.

Superman is smarter, has a reaction time in the nanoseconds, can vibrate through objectsat will and infinite mass punch
-
Thor also has the fast reaction time, and has the God Blast that wipes out 1/5 of the universe. Somehow I doubt Thor would stand around waiting to be hit with the IM Punch.
-
Thor has a slow combat speed though. Cap even called him out on it once.
-
Thor, like Superman, tones his powers down while on Earth. If he didn't he would level continents in every fight.
-
Yes, he holds back, but I don't think he can speedblitz like Superman can. Not that he needs to; he can just use Mjolnir and shoot lightning everywhere so Supes can't get close enough to speedblitz.
-
Actually he would be waiting, because that God Blast takes a while to charge up. And against someone who has a reaction time in the nano seconds and can infinite mass punch your ass, well that aint good.
-
The IMP also has a charge up time, so we probably wouldn't see an IMP or GB in the fight. Unless it was a finisher. So why bring them up? It comes down to powers, which the two are comparable, and fighting skill, which are also comparable. Thor is just more aggressive, and has a power set that Superman is weak to. Mjolnir hits Supes harder than anyone else, since he's weak to it.
-
But, can thor even hit superman? Like I said he has a reaction time in the nanoseconds, and can vibrate though solid objects.
-
He isn't always vibrating. Otherwise he'd never be hit. One look at ANY of his comics, he can be punched. Even if it has no effect, he's constantly being punched. Thor also has an ultrafast reaction time, and spends more time fighting. He would land blows. Each hit would be worse for Superman, because Thor is magically powered.
-
You're right, it's not constant. It's more so short bursts. But a short burst is morethan enough for a fast hammer strike. Hell he can vibrate fast enough to go invisible for quite a period of time.
-
If Thor telegraphed his hits, then yeah. But, he's a good warrior, so he wouldn't do that.
-
You know how many nano seconds there are in the time it takes to swing a hammer? I realise thathe can do it fast, but there's still a lot of nano seconds
