Have you ever seen someone die?

More times than I wish I would have. In situations I wish were different, in places far away from the comfort of home.

My grandmother died in front of me and most of my immediate family members after she was taken off life support. She was given morphine so she wouldn't be in pain. Died on her 90th birthday. Very long life. May she rest peacefully still.

I saw a video (or a feed; I can't remember) of some Russian neo-[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] cutting the head off of a kid with a bowie knife while he was still alive when I was 12 or 13. It's pretty interesting to watch the eyes. Other than a few other videos, I've never seen it actually happen in real life, but I've seen several people <30 minutes before they died.

Videos. A lot. And I'm not talking about anything overly gorey. Watching the 9/11 videos alone is witnessing a couple thousand die.

A person in the act of dying? No, not in real life, but I did see my grandma in an open casket when she passed away.

I've seen the sheet-covered body of a person who had just committed suicide by driving off a dock. Didn't see their face though.

I've seen a young girl get hit by a bus a few years back. Dunno if she died, but I would have assumed so since it was going pretty fast. It'd be nice if she survived, though.

I saw my Grandpa die after the life support was turned off. It was nice in a way, most of his family got to spend his final moments around him (even though he was unconcious).

I've played the Tomb Raider reboot video game so yes (that was a really shit game. The worst game ever. I prefer the original games but it had some bits that were better than the original but it wasn't good by any means) I also played Gears of War 3 so I seen people get ripped apart by chainsaw-guns (seriously, what the hell???)

When I at a summer camp years ago a kid went under and nobody noticed. He was taken to a hospital but he didn't make it.
