Vendor ranks were better than event ranks
Having vendor ranks with Xur, Zavala, Shaxx, Drifter, etc. was a much better system than what is currently in the game. The Vendors already didn't have much soul in them before, but now they're hollow. There is no point whatsoever to truly visit these vendors and engage with them, besides Xur, Zavala, and Rahoul. Even then that experience is bare.
Having us rank up a vendor showed our gameplay time being invested and what we were getting out of it. It was a way to earn rewards and bright dust. I want to see that the way I engage with the activities is working me towards aspirational rewards over time.

Another reason why the new reward system sucks is the insanely expensive reward shop. They limit a gun to only four purchases, but you'll never get enough token to get four anyway. At least pre EoF you got engrams, tons of engrams, to target farm a weapon you want. EoF, you get terrible low drop rates and can only buy 4 of a weapon...WTF!!!

Not only do Vendor ranks need to be reinstated, but the entire game needs to be reverted back to pre Edge of Failure, as per my rant here :- https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/264996894/0/0 Look at the minuscule changes they’ve implemented since we started expressing our displeasure and more importantly since the numbers started to fall. It isn’t enough. The Portaloo has made the game dull, boring, broken and a chore. The so called “improvements” haven’t done anything much to improve the game as the Portaloo is still there. Running strikes/PvP/Gambit for three pinnacles from the pathfinder along with the exotic engrams we used to get from that and the nightfall was significantly more fun than running a million -blam!--ing Caldera/K1/Creation/Salt Mines or whatever in solo ops. You should have had more people in to tell you that the Portaloo was a monumentally awful idea and should never ever have been put into the game. It needs to change and go back to what we had before. Now of course, we all know your modus operandi:- [quote]“Never take the blame… redirect… and fail to be better. That’s the Bungie way of doing things” Lord Bungo.[/quote] …but that has to change. Get rid of the Portaloo. Revert almost everything back to pre Edge of Fate. Get rid of weapons tiers, so we don’t feel like the last 3/4 years of collecting and grinding for the best weapons was a complete waste of time. Keep the armour, the changes to the stats, get rid of the tiers and make the armour stats drop based on power level. Then put that system into all the armour that drops in the game, working backwards from the most recent to the earliest. The first being the entirety of TFS and LF. Whilst we are on the subject of power level, do not reset us in Renegades, because if you do, the remaining player base is going to tank, hard. But none of this is going to happen, your egos are tied to this version of the game. You literally can’t admit that you were wrong. Which means unless you admit this overhaul of the game’s systems was a mistake, revert most of the changes, not only are you going to continue to tank the franchise and your studio, but it’ll also guarantee that Marathon is DOA. And this will due to your tarnished reputation from the poor handling that of your flagship franchise, ie Destiny. Just in case you forgot what has been paying your wages for the last decade or more. Remember if you aren’t enjoying this game and want it to change, the only way that Bungie will listen is if we just stop playing. Bungie only look at data, we have to show them that their asinine decisions and actions are counterproductive to their projected revenue and engagement.

Vendor Ranks: You get three months to max out. Event Ranks: You get one week to max out.

3 отв.So you have to pay for re-roll chips with silver if you want to continue ranking up the progress bar in IB. Or you can wait for them to refresh. Some people have a limited amount of time or days that can be devoted to playing. The old vendors would let us get random bounties all the time. No silver necessary Greedy Bungie, greedy

This. I personally think Bungie just needs to call this who year a wash with the portal and the level system. And tone it back significantly. The Portal and the power grind both serve to make the game feel way too small. Even the current reward structure with the pools restricts the rewards even further. Actually I’d have loved it if they had both. The more resources we get in the game the more we can build and experiment. Resource rich environment means we have the means to truly play our own way. Just give us more sources. Don’t remove the portal rewards and all that jazz. Keep it. Just bring back the old systems you mentioned. Give us more! more More MORE! Rain down those upgrade materials!

It was and so often helped give you extra bits to level up all your gear, and I did bounties too so my game play was changed up. The variety and rewards made it fun, the game is just about the grind now, the numbers are plummenting as a result. And this morning I find they have added unshielded to Solo Ops, really Bungie??? Telling people the best way forward is to -blam!-??? WHY THE HELL IS THIS IN SOLO OPS??? You are so brain dead and mindless it is beyond belief.

1 ответDefinitely destiny has devolved into a menu game feels like I spend more time crunching numbers trying to figure out what I'm doing rather than actually shooting stuff and then top it off with timers and limitations and it's just boring and so wonder no one's playing
