Wasn’t just content creators a lot of people hated crafting it was unhealthy to this game made it to easy to get god rolls and made all drops meaningless unless it was a red border for pattern.
Crafting if comes back should be a catch up mechanic only like ones you can’t get that weapon anymore have the patterns for sale by cut out side of that go grind you loot becuase this is a looter shooter not a bob the builder game

If you don't like weapon crafting then don't craft any weapons. It's completely optional. Problem solved.
-
It’s not the fact I don’t like crafting the fact is crafting is bad for the health of the game in a looter shooter you need loot not just look for patterns. For the people that say well they took out crafting and numbers have drop that’s not the reason the population has been dropping like crazy long before they removed it play times have had big drops 2-3weeks after big releases do to no content and weapons too easy to get

I consider the patterns to be loot. Add to that: If Bungie didn't intentionally put their thumb on the scales I might be willing to let the dice decide and nothing more. But we know Bungie fudges the random results. They want you to chase, but it's greyhounds chasing the rabbit. It's always just out of reach. If you have as much chance of getting the roll you want, as you do winning the lottery it might make more sense to buy lottery tickets than Bungie DLC.

Yes it’s type of game it is it should be grindy

Crafting unhealthy? Hmm there´s no crafting now and the Game was never in such a bad shape, enough said! Now you can go and grind your Hung Jury version 6.0 playing a 10 years old Strike, good luck

The way crafting was implemented, removes the impetuous to go out and Loot. Which is a countermaned of the point of a Looter-Shooter. The looting. Once you have the pattern, you can freely modify a weapon or create new ones for specific play styles and or game modes.
-
Yeah once you have a pattern ! But you need to grind for all five red borders just for one weapon ! Iff you are lucky enough you can get your god roll in your first run so that means you will stop playing or what?
-
It means you play less
-
So basically it´s same as crafting! You get a god roll you play less, you get a patterns you play less...
-
PvE Godroll. PvP Godroll. The rolls you keep just because they are fun and or highly situational. Being able to task build,.requires less effort than having to hunt for them.

Wait, ALL weapons were craftable!? How did I completely miss that for 3 years!?
-
Majority of weapons yes also raid weapons should never been
-
Lol "majority"!? Seasonal and raid weapons, that's it. Oh and one set of destination weapons once a year. The vast majority of every season's weapons were from dungeons, crucible, nightfalls, vanguard, etc. most seasonal weapons were forgettable, one or two would be decent, but the majority of the best weapons from every season were from dungeons, nightfalls, trials or comp. That's more than enough of grinding to keep all the gambling addicts happy. But no, you all had to cry about some basic seasonal weapons being easy to get. I've never seen another fanbase so whiney about easy loot. And now crafting is gone and we're all getting slammed with this new horrible tier system that's tripling down on the grind and effectively sunsetting everything we've worked for the last few years. Congratulations, you got what you wanted - crafting is gone and the grind just quadrupled. You win, enjoy your next 1k hours of grinding for nothing. And when they sunset it all again next year, I hope it was all worth it.
