Account Link/Unlink Issue
I'm trying to unlink a Steam account from my Bungie account that isn't mine, so I can link my main Steam account to it. To do this, I need to disable Cross-Save. Here's the issue I'm facing:
When I try to authenticate the Steam account I want removed, I get an authentication error. I also tried signing into the Bungie website using the Steam account I want removed, thinking it would log me in since it’s supposed to be linked to my Bungie account, but it acts like the Steam account isn't linked to anything, even though it actually is.
To make matters more confusing, I was able to create a new Bungie account using the Steam login I wanted removed, and somehow it’s connected to my main Bungie account, which I don’t want. How is this even possible?
I can’t disable Cross-Save because of this issue. If anyone can help, my Discord is bubs2004.

2 отв.Изменено (viiTactiiCZz): 4/6/2025 6:32:51 PMUnfortunately even if you did gain access to the Steam account - a platform accounts link to a Bungie.net profile became permanent on March 25th so you cant unlink it regardless. Bungie won't forcibly unlink the account and they aren't granting any exceptions to it. What it looks like has happened is the account has been linked in one place with the email/password of the steam account and in another place using the unique account name and password. Steam allow multiple accounts under the same email so you aren't necessarily linking the correct account using the email.
