Update on PvP this week : Known cheater joins match 25% in progress ( 6v6 match with "Outlier Protection") Ends up with 41 Kills 100% Headshot Accuracy Has a history of >2.5 KD on console Not Investigated/Warned/Banned Player who complains/reports/quits gets banned. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Just thought I ought to share!

11 отв.Considering this forums definition of a cheater is “anyone who is better than me”, I’m going to guess there was no real cheater and you’re just upset you got rightfully punished. Maybe don’t abandon your other teammates to save your kd?
-
3 отв.Since the last update I'm getting paired against way more stacked teams while I'm solo queueing. Can't they just have a solo queue playlist other than rumble.......
-
3 отв.If they actually did something about those using hard cheat devices, I wouldn't complain. But they are everywhere.. Remember Aztecross' interview with the devs from the anti cheat software company? Estimated 30% cheat in pvp and they could do something about it. Or are they keeping the good stuff for their new game?

Played a game the other day, loaded in 3v5 all solos and then one on my team leaves so it was 2v5, ended up a 3 v5 when 1 more joined and stayed (thank -blam!-) this is one main reason they need to ditch the quitter penalty! Can’t even load a full game and then can’t even backfill correctly.
-
his is literally the only game where i could leave a game with a cheater in it and get punished for not wanting to play in the match.
Yup. Amazing isn't it LOL! You're actually punished for doing the right thing. Outrageously great call Bungie! 🤣🤣🤣

1 ответQuitter penalties should never apply to social playlists, especially with JiP. The fact that Bungie won’t ban third party hardware or macros invites cheating and players should not be penalized by quitting matches in social playlists.
-
Now watch all the cheaters who claim to be high skilled complain about how cheating is super rare in PVP. Trials is a cheaters haven. Most cheaters tend to occasionally google their cheats off, especially if they think they are being monitored, then pretend to lose a game, then continue cheating in the next 10 games and rinse/repeat. This is why PVP is dying in this franchise.

Every freaking game I play its just full of people just clearing using a trigger bot or ximming and hitting all headshots with an auto rifle with almost 30+ kills in a match or using only snipers and hitting all headshots while doing snap cancels and I get punished for quitting for not wanting to play? Man screw destiny 2 and you give false bans and ban AFK farmers much more quickly than look at these cheaters in PVP who clearly belong to the same clan? SO SMART BUNGIE WOW AMAZING

Just played against a guy who legit was changing the rolls on the exact same gun between matches. Then on the same team some dude with your basic cheater load out. Rank 5. All armor with either 2 or 3 slots available and your basic beginner guns such as Quicksilver and a shorty with no mods in them, and not even mastered. Just all level 1 guns. And dude had 36 kills. Needless to say by the end of the match only 3 left on my team. Everyone else said blam it. After that match a turned the entire console off.

3 отв.The way I see it… A quitting penalty is a reminder that you are not enjoying the PvP. You get more than 1 strike an hour.. If you are leaving three times in said hour, you are put in time out. (Unless it has changed. Have not touched PvP in a while due to how bad it is now.)

Hello from everyone at Bungie, We want to share a message with everyone who’s experiencing a mental health issue: it’s okay to not be okay. You aren’t alone. Our mental health is just as important as our physical health, which is why we have gathered the below mental health resources together with help from Guardians Mental Health.

1 ответYou think I'm bending the rules? Pfft, how quaint. I'm not just playing; I'm transcending this game, redefining what it means to be good at Destiny 2. My moves are so calculated, you'd think I've got a direct line to the developers. But no, it's just my superior skill, honed through countless hours you could only dream of. My strategy isn't just ahead, it's in another dimension, while you're still fumbling with the basics. I see five steps ahead, no, make that five universes, making my gamestyle look like nothing short of wizardry to your pitiful eyes. My gamestyle? It's not just telepathic; it's as if the game itself bends to my will. I adapt to changes with the ease of a god reshaping reality, leaving you to wonder if there's a hidden shortcut. But no, there isn't; there's just my inexorable path to victory. Casuals, in their ignorance, might whisper about cheating, but let's set the record straight: I am the pinnacle of Destiny 2 mastery in this world. I have no equal; now grovel before my greatness. Let thine envious, petty gaze linger upon my unmatched glory. When you see me on the leaderboard, remember, it's not about cheating. It's about being so far beyond what you could ever achieve, that your feeble minds can't comprehend the sheer brilliance at play. The code I follow is one of pure, unadulterated excellence.

Even if there WERE numbers to support the penalties reducing quitting, would that even change your opinion? I highly doubt it. Yes, cheating sucks. Yes, flying around with heavy is very annoying. Unfortunately, it appears people quit a LOT of games where NEITHER of those things are happening.
-
8 отв.Big, big difference between "flying around with heavy" and "ximming". Both suck, but.. cmon. They're not the same. There's no real reason to leave a game where someone is ximming, because it's simply 1) too hard to tell they're doing it and 2) you still have a good chance of winning. Now, I can understand leaving a game where someone is hacking and flying around killing everyone with heavy.
-
Quitting is happening so much now , even in control which makes no sense . All the games are similar now , same players , same load outs so quitting then spawning into another game the same 🤷🏼♂️
-
6 отв.You are capping. You are going to be punished in every game if you leave, doesn't matter against a cheater or not.
-
The quitter penalties are good. Its the constant serving of the kinds of people that quit left and right that's not so good.
