It should be the most casual playlist and it's currently the sweatiest playlist in the game. For the love of god just make it feel like a casual experience again

For the love of god just make it feel like a casual experience again
It's sweaty for 3 reasons 1. Because this game's try hards treat every game mode like it's competitive even when it's not. They're always using the latest meta, the most efficient builds, stacking up in teams, etc. They do this to farm players who do treat it casually so they can lord their KD stats (which nobody outside of crucible cares about anyway) over everyone's heads. 2. The population is super low, which means a significantly larger percentage of the player population are those try hards I previously mentioned. 3. Because of 1 and 2, the current matchmaking system (which matches the requisite number of players as fast as possible regardless of skill or connection and then employs lobby balancing afterward to "fix it") means you're always in matches with very sweaty players and they are always broken up between the two teams. Rest assured, this game is just 2 sweats per team farming the other 8 players for kills every single game and the winner is the one with the more efficient sweats. If you're not a Crucible try hard, you are there for cannon fodder. That's it. Filling seats so games start. The only way to remove sweat games is to remove the sweats (usually done with SBMM), but those cowards are so terrified of facing competition at their own experience levels that it'll never happen. So, enjoy sweaty crucible.

7 отв.For real, you solo player you come home from long day at work, you play you favourite game, why does it have to be so sweaty? What am I competing for?

I try to sweat. I do sweat. But no matter what I try I can’t keep up with those -blam!-. No matter how much practice or time I put in to actually trying to get better. Which I have put a lot into. I only managed to max my comp twice time like 5 and 4 years ago. I got close to maxing the following year, but this year and the last year? Just absolutely getting my -blam!- rocked over and over again with a good game every once in awhile. I used to top the -blam!- leaderboards with 30 kills every game or at least be in the top 3. Now I’m bottom 3 almost every match and I’m still trying my -blam!- off. It’s -blam!- fubar.

The fusion rifles... Although not that many people are using them, what happens during the charge times sometimes basically makes them a free ohk unless they're going against another fusion or possibly a shotgun. It just doesn't seem like it should work like that those things are already strong enough. The bolts should be missing more often and it shouldn't be as hard as it is now in the way it is for them to miss.

The quitter penalties being added to quick play was stupid. If people can start the game afk with no consequence I should be able to leave the game with no consequence. Just like their loose sbmm I was originally on board hoping I can actually have fun games without cheaters or sweat lords ruining them, but boy was that hope misplaced. I get so many one sided games it’s ridiculous. Now I only play pvp if I absolutely have to since it went from fun to just having to sweat every game.

1 ответBungie should remove all stats from quickplay.

3 отв.Relax. It's the beginning of the season. All the sweats return to the game for a few weeks after each seasonal refresh of new content. Wait a few weeks for all the sweats to get bored with the game again and leave, and then all the crucible lobbies will be filled with casuals again. The crucible is most casual at the end of every season.

4 отв.Idk, it’s pretty casual for me… You’re bound to get sweats and newbies in a casual playlist. That’s what… casual playlist means. Every other game has that, including games like Overwatch, primarily played in casual play.

15 отв.SBMM has been the downfall of casual gaming.

Unless Bungie does something like CoD where you get skins or extras for weapons for getting X number of kills with a weapon it won't change. Destiny players play pvp to win. They may not play the OBJ which is different conversation but primarily they take each encounter like their life depended on it. Its cultural and not something Bungie can do anything about. They can't move sliders, buff or nerf anything that will move that needle specifically. Not even the loot chase moves it. The hardest sweatiest things to get is a glow and emblems. That should be a huge indicator that we have at least 2 major sub categories in PvE and PvP. The top end plays for emblems, shaders, momento, titles and leader boards with tags on websites not affiliated with Bungie. The rest of the game is supposed to channel you into that point. Whether or not a player chooses to engage with that is up to them.

5 отв.Trials and comp are dying rapidly…..control is all that’s left now ….casual never ! Control will die out eventually since make the most of it !

2 отв.1.93 in Crucible 1.75 in Trials. Gold Rank in Comp I dunno bud, you seem do be doing just fine.
-
the same bottom 1000% casuals asked sbmm
-
The penalty system is dumb I got suspended in crucible for doing an errand that won’t take a match to do I get suspended time man destiny has gone downhill senice the final shape
-
9 отв.Control feels so bad because the population is so low. The SBMM is just outlier protection but there are not enough players for it to work properly. Pure CBMM would not help because it would just cause more players to leave by attrition. I say this as a perennial 1.0 (or less right now) player that normally can find a match in less than 30 seconds… it’s taking me upwards of 5 minutes sometimes lately and Trials is even worse. Can’t imagine at the outer ends of the curve. A FREE crucible update with some maps might get the population back up a little but a lot of this is just people being done after Final Shape ended the story saga.

It is casual. It’s fun. I play it everyday. Stop worrying about KD and winning.
-
Yeah it’s truly riveting gameplay to engage in trench warfare against 4 prismatic hunters on knucklehead grav and deadlock or Elsie’s and chap.

11 отв.Изменено (Itcus): 10/27/2024 12:23:19 AMYou ain't never going to get a "casual" PvP experience, because it's PVP.

It can't be casual like say a public event. It's people (trying to) kick out the crap of each other. However what is broken in QP since last season already is their matchmaking in 6es. Really bad. Interesting enough I believe IB last season was relatively better than normal control, better not good. Personally my best experience currently is competitive which by definition is sweaty but provides (relatively spoken) far better matchmaking. Finally aside from presumably low(er) player population I believe I see either more cheating and/or networking issues both of which I can't prove but Bungie should. P.S. Side effect of last issue mentioned (network) I am kicked out regularly from activities across the game finding myself back in orbit or on a predefined map point in open. Very weird.

2 отв.I know, I know... "Spinfoil hat" take here - 1. Bungie's "goal" with this DLC was to make us feel "more powerful than ever before". 2. I know a lot of players think, "Bungie would never have catch-up mechanics and handicapping in Crucible", but I'm here to tell you, I fully believe they do. 3. About 70% - 80% of the matches you play now end up being mercy matches. That means you're mercying other teams much more often than before. And you're also being Mercied more often. This has nothing to do with matching-making or sandbox. Bungie has cranked up the catch-up mechanics and handicapping parameters in the Crucible, to create an artificial feeling of being "powerful", by allowing you to mercy other teams during matches more often. You feel more powerful when you're destroying teams and mercying them more often. 4. On the flip side of this, in order to be "balanced and fair", and maintain their goal of a 50/50 win rate, that means you also have to be Mercied a certain amount of times, to allow other players to experience that "powerful feeling". 5. That's why I also believe Bungie added suspensions for people dropping out of valor matches now, and not just ranked matches anymore. They knew that the higher number of "mercy matches" would cause many of the people on the losing side to get frustrated and want to drop out. How could they thwart that, so that people would stay in the game, even when they're being destroyed? Well, with the threat of being suspended or banned for dropping out. 6. That's also why I believe the number of "in-progress" matches are much higher now, because for many players who just want to go in and have a few casual matches, the threat of suspension isn't enough to keep them from dropping out after being Mercied multiple matches in a row.

4 отв.Remove SBMM. Keep it in Iron Banner.
-
It'll never be casual again, because every sweat and their mom wants to jump in with meta loadouts and pub stomp for their social media clicks. Bungie can't do anything about it, that's literally just what online multiplayer games are now.

Titan your cabals and try again Guardian.

Casual has nothing to do with skill kiddo
