You don't get suspensions for being afk in 1 singular match. You must leave a lot or are afk most of the time, which deserves a suspension.
Put a diaper on or get a bucket and finish the 10-minute game.

False, I haven't played PvP in months, you are Bungie's puppet.
-
Then why are you here crying about a suspension you got because you can't time a bathroom break?
-
Oh look, another justice warrior who doesn't even play pvp. Kindly keep your opinion to the pve part of the game.

What part of what I said was wrong?

You can get a suspension for being afk if you get kicked. Even in a single match if you did not play a lot. Queue times, especially in comp can be 10 minutes or more so it's easy to see why one might go to quickly do something while queuing. As for the suspensions. I think they're stupid. They were not needed before Bungie forced sbmm into the game for the 3rd time. Not two weeks later... quitter penalties in quick play and dwindling player numbers ever since but they're too stubborn and hung up on this weird fairness idea to revert it. The system does not even function proberly either. I had both my blueberries leave me in a 1v3 in comp and since there is no way to win that in Collision, I left as well. Lost 150 points (so much for the advertised loss protection when your team leaves) and got a suspension for "negatively impacting the other players' experience". Try explaining that one to me, please.

You're telling me that if I queue up a match right now (not having yet played this season) and get kicked for being afk, I'll immediately get a suspension? I've got one for leaving impossible comp matches after, like the 2nd or 3rd, but never on the first. I only play in bursts during a season and am never afk, I'll leave once in a while, but that's it. If they changed genreal Crucible specifically (I know Gambit and comp don't give suspensions on first offense), then that's F'ed, and I would agree that it's uncalled for.
-
Yes, I got disconnected on my 1st game due to Bungie throwing weasel and bat error codes around and instantly got a suspension.
-
So you're right, but it only happened on a comp game. Control I didn't even get a warning. That's wild. The queue time wasn't any 10 minutes, though, not even close to 5. No matter what, my point was don't be an afk a hole in a Crucible game, especially not comp. I definitely could have #1'ed in the time it took for me to get kicked as well. Error codes, sure, but afk for peeing is ridiculous. He can take care of that prior to queueing a game.
-
I don't like afk people either but especially in qp where it would backfill I much prefer them (including their time out) over the ones sitting in spawn and exchanging emotes so they won't be kicked for inactivity while waiting for the match to be over. That stuff does aggravate me to no end tbh.

I agree and I'll agree with any suspension problem that's outside of human control but op had full control of the situation he described. If he would have stated it was because of networking, I would have never said a thing.

Изменено (Myth): 10/24/2024 12:57:42 AMAs I said it... I load into a 2v3 and team mate dearest starts afk-ing. Would have loved to be able to just leave his sorry behind in a 1v3 tbh but no, I gotta stick around so he doesn't feel bad while the enemy team plays like it's the guardian olympics? Good one, Bungie.
-
For sure. I play them out typically no matter what, but a suspension on 1 leave/error code is ridiculous.

That's the wildest s*it ever. I'm gonna try it right now.
