As a gay man what i think of Osiris and Saint relationship
Csn u please stop forcing this down on everyone, episodes are suppose to be explanation of the echoes that the traveler created , but this episode is gay relationship focus instead of explaining the story more . Honestly whats next , fikrul kills eramis lesbian lover and we get the entire episode focus on that relationship. Enough is enough

Destiny is supposed to be set in our future which so the percentages should be roughly the same no? Its what 12% or so of the actual population thats LGBT? Why is Destiny 90% LGBT? Im bisexual myself and i dont even feel represented properly because Bungie is clearly doing it to pander to an audience (the radicals who push over acceptance and call everyone bigots if they have any differing opinion) who dont even play the game or make up a very small portion of the playerbase.

I mostly don't like how they made the current Saint 14 feel irrelevant. I never got to play the original part of this story, so it felt like devaluing the original Saint 14's demise.

The romance story isn't genuine. It's injected for the sole purpose of normalization. For whatever reason players don't like it, Bungie knew it's main purpose was to alienate certain people and try to force acceptance of something they didn't agree with. It's political. Those motives have no place in games.

Even looking beyond them being gay, having a romantic relationship be the forefront of a story never works out. Especially when something bigger is going on at the same time.

I mean it's crazy we only learned two things this whole act. The conductor is Maya sundaresh who is Lakshmi. Which doesn't even make sense. Why would Lakshmi try to destroy the tower and the last city in splicer, if she wants to bring in a new golden age? The second thing is the echo is called the echo of command. How does it work and did saint just give it that name or how does he know it's called that.

Personally, I'd like seeing them if the relationship felt real. To me it feels like they're pretending to be in a relationship, and a bad one at that.

My fireteam tends to start our week by doing whatever nugget of story has been released before we go on to endgame content. Honestly, this week we completely missed what I'm sure was a carefully crafted continuation of the Osiris / Saint saga. We were too busy splitting our sides as the true star of the show took centre stage, inadvertently I'm sure. Failsafe's chirpy dialogue during the scene tickled our funny bones and that was it, go Failsafe, we love you. :) I can always pay attention if I catch up a second or third character but I can't promise not to be giggling again but I suppose there is always YouTube. :)

That's when I tabbed out to youtube. Would have done the same regardless of their preferences. It's just nonsense and clutter.

I would have preferred the story to be more Exo Centric (which is in theme with the Vex and Echo of Control) like Elsie, Saint, and the sorts. Heck, even give a special Dialogue and an alternate Cutscene if you yourself are an Exo. Then repeat the process with Awoken for Revenant, and Humans with Hearsay.
