So many people leave right when the game starts. I left one game that 4 people already quit and went to another game mode and one player insta quit there too. The crucible is kind of a joke right now. Obviously something is wrong when this many people are quitting
-
It's usually, at least in my case, because they loaded me onto one of the dogwater maps like disfunction. Instant leave. Every time. Not playing it lol.
-
PvP is in a horrible state. I the changes to headshot and bodyshot damage ruined HC, but pulse rifles didnt get changed. 140s have a 1s ttk and then Elsies rifle has a .67ttk without even a damage perk helping it. Add headseeker into the mix and it melts faster. I strongly miss the old PvP and not this new crap. I dont blame people for quiting because they also cant balance a team. SBMM ruined causal PvP.
-
Casuals and new players don't play games to get brutalised. Bad matchmaking. Connections have always been mediocre. So matches at least should be high quality.
-
What it really comes down to, and watch me get banned for "hate speech"😂, is that Bungie is completely incapable of providing a balanced and enjoyable PvP experience. People can hate on me all they want for saying it, but this company has undeniably proved this. The game released in 2017. If they can't come close to balance in 7 years of constant development and "learning" they really just aren't capable. It is what it is. Plus I think they know many or most are probably leaving after Lightfall, so I doubt they're even really trying much in the first place. They know how bad they've messed the game up.
-
I will back out 100% of the time when it chooses the new maps.
-
Matchmaking is a joke. No rewards for playing PvP. Unbalance. Sweaty. Especially the sweaty part. People also take PvP too seriously. I’ve gotten so much hatemail for messing around zooming across the map with dunemarchers and a mida. They get mad they can’t catch me, usually hit them with the “gotta blast”
-
Unbalanced matchmaking, terrible net code, ammo economy is now trash and people don't know how to play objectives. Anything else?
-
WAY too many sweats. Played multiple Control games where people were using adept weapons from Trails…WTF!? Why?…in competitive of course, but this is basically just f-ing around. On top of that they don’t capture zones either. I don’t care how many kills you get and you k/d is 13.2 for the game cause your -blam!- camped in the back stroking not only your sniper/scout rifle but also your tube steak 🤦♂️ you players should be told, you’re not impressing anyone, “I’m not trying to impress anyone *derp*” then why do it? “cAuSe i CaN!” And there lies the problem 🤷♂️
-
I just quit because they are not trying to cap the zone. The hell im going stick around.
-
It amuses me that people are quitting despite the quitter penalties, hahaha. It's almost as if Bungie were told it won't matter.
-
I leave if I get dysfunction every time. Worst map ever.
-
They probably leave because of imbalance… teams vs solos type crap!!
-
What dosen’t help is Trials’ currently down so the players you wouldn’t expect to see in the weekend are in the playlist stomping.
-
People take the game too seriously. It’s not that deep just play, who cares if your team doesn’t cap zones.
-
3rd party sites are very good at predicting match outcomes based on D2’s MM algorithm, and how it composes matches… look for yourself, there are very little prediction by these sites that aren’t in the 90%s. People monitor and refresh these sites to be on the losing end of Bungie’s abysmal Matchmaking:
-
They just grind the bounties
-
I heard matchmaking takes the top kd players and place them against the lower kd people. Idk for sure just passing the speculation forward.
-
It's called Fortnite and CoD Players DO NOT PLAY OBJECTIVE MODES. I have made countless posts about Bungie to fix this problem. The real solution will be the winning team will get ascendant alloys, ascendent shards, and enhancement cores for the winning team that played the objective. It's a SIMPLE fix.
-
Yeah one reason they quit is to protect there kd

Obviously something is wrong when this many people are quitting[/quote] I know within 2 minutes if Bungie is going to give me the loss and it’s going to be a bs match where every magic bullet hits me and nothing sticks to them Or if I’m playing a leach shooting match I have no interest in that But bungie is a vengeful -blam!- pos so they will put me on the next losing team until I take my loss like a good little guardian These match’s are so -blam!- uneven
-
Players are done sticking it out when it’s rubber bullet and zero aim assist. Games in a horrible place
-
doesnt help that one of the new maps is good

Pvp is just bad. I see people say this is a good sandbox. Then why is everyone quitting. It’s either the matchmaking or the game. Bungie just needs to take the data and figure it out. All we can do is just voice our opinion. -
I don’t know what else to tell you. My suggestion is for Bungie to stop trying to incentivize people who don’t like pvp to play it. If you force someone, they aren’t going to play either correctly or to win. They’ll focus on bounties, kills, and such. You CANNOT expect people to play the correct way if they straight up don’t want to be in the playlist. Aka… Putting pve trials weapons to lure in fodder may actually be hurting trials and comp, more then helping it. Just a thought…

Idk about everyone but when the majority of matches are stomps that could be a reason to quit. Losing 120-150 is ok. But when the enemy team already leads you by 100 points you know the match isn’t going well at all. You watch 3 teammates try to cap a zone only to see them all get killed. You take one zone and head to take the next one and you immediately hear Shaxx say they got them all. Then you check and find out the enemy team had an 80% chance of winning. No -blam!-! I could tell that just by how far ahead they were. So yes the majority of matches are stomps and they aren’t fun after the third one. Eventually it’s hard to stay in the match.

If there's people from other consoles I leave. If I see someone teleporting I leave. Playing a match with bad connection is not worth no one's time.
