I don't post much on here but I just want to say that I understand why they are doing it (engagement) which only benefits bungie with zero thought for the player but I do also think people are over-moaning on social media towards bungie and being babies as at the end of the day it's six guns. However 6 weeks is heavy.... it's not even that the limited version of the last weapon will only be available for 2 weeks it's that this is the most hyped we've seen people for a while for what is really a small content update which shows how cool this update should have been. But they have seemly burst their own bubble with this one to a degree. Why not 3 weeks with two weapons a week? Sure people would still moan but 3 weeks still gives plenty of time for everyone to get the LE guns. Just want to clarify here as well I don't mean the hype has gone because, I for one am still very excited but my excitement has dropped since yesterday :( Like I said at the top I understand why their doing this but is it even that necessary for engagement? My point here is, in the drip feed model they are currently planning to do after most players have got the first 6 guns in the first week a lot of players will log on, run one or two onslaughts (if they can thru 50 waves) get the gun and log back off. Is releasing one gun a week really necessary for the sake of a few hours of engagement on a Tuesday. Anyway, just my thoughts, I am Definitely frustrated but hope for a small change just to get it away from the 6 week model.
