If you're still getting Plum even after reinstalling and verifying your files, you'll need to contact BattleEye support. Plum is the error given when BattleEye tells the game that you're not connected properly to the BattleEye service.

Not connected properly? This is news, and helpful. I was under the assumption BattlEye found a suspicious program and timed me out for that. I will try to contact their support. Thank you very much. This is the best hint anybody has given me so far.
