So today me and a couple friends decided to start our Ascendant grind and see how far we get. We must have played around 60-75 games and had great fun. That was up until we matched a certain team of three. Before we had even loaded in I was hit with two messages calling me names you can look at yourself. I was shocked at this and it appalled me. I’m quite thick skinned but seeing this in game was something else. I play this game to have fun and chill out after work. This person sent me multiple more messages in game but I only took pictures of the two. We matched the same team two more times where he laughed at me for asking him to stop messaging me and called me more slurs. I did report this person in game but I don’t know how far that would go. I’ve played this game since October 2014 and have never experienced this before and when I spoke to a friend who was in the Xbox party with me he said he’s also never had this happen. I thought about blocking this player and moving on with my day but I thought no. Why should I? This player will use the same language to someone else and they may not be as thick skinned as I was. I don’t want to turn my profanity off and I shouldn’t have to but maybe certain words could get filtered out? Am I the only one this has happened too? Should I have just blocked this person and moved on? I’m hoping this person gets banned or at least a warning on their screen.
