You know it kills me when something new comes out like the new dungeon and if you have a life and work when you go to try something for the first time all you see is KWTD, it’s like some people are too good to play with others that may not know a new raid or dungeon. You look at the app and 98% will be KWTD but are still stuck at a spot which to me means you also don’t KWTD or you would have the right weapons and strategies to beat the dungeon. Be and act like a community and let somebody in a group to play they may not know all the mechanics but have seen a video on it but just has not played it online, they may surprise you on how good they actually are. As a side note yes there are times when people need to leave for legitimate reasons like needing to go to sleep, have to go to work or take care of personal things IRL, but that’s not 98% of players.

It kills me to see people crying about kwtd posts... I've not even touched the dungeon but when I do I ain't gonna join kwtd posts or even make a post of kwtd. I'm gonna either post learning or look for posts that teaching. It's shocking that people are upset over kwtd posts when you can just simply ignore them. Some people don't have much time to do certain activities so that's one of the huges reasons as to why people make kwtd posts.

This community can be very toxic and unwelcoming. I know what you mean. However, here’s a suggestion: host an LFG and specify that you want people who are patient (chill) and kind. Be the change you want to see. This is not to say that your grievance is illegitimate (it’s not) but this might help.

-
Just watch a quick YouTube guide and you'll KWTD.
-
I did this dungeon blind no mic the first time with some randoms. The mechanics were not hard to figure out. It is way too forgiving. This dungeon is an easy kwtd pick up.
-
If you don't know what to do then don't join. There is no strategy to dungeon outside of solo. Just run whatever and don't all die at the same time.
-
You definitely want to run it blind first time, it's a lot of fun. Lfg for 2 more who have zero clears, I am sure there'll be others in same spot as you who are good but don't kwtd yet.
-
Watch Rick Khakis’ video and now you kwtd. Problem solved.
-
-
Having used lfg a lot. Kwtd is you know the paths and mechanics, and have appropriate load outs/ light level for the activity In this dungeon for example a kwtd group should easily beat it in 30-45 mins A teaching run can double that especially if the person isn’t skilled in jumping puzzles If I don’t have the team to teach I am going to put kwtd. If my kids are being loud and I don’t want to be on mic to explain anything I will put kwtd
-
If you form the group, you set the entry rules. If you can't find a group where you meet the requirements, make your own and set your own rules. Other players aren't responsible for teaching you. The ones that do are very nice and appreciated, but the expectation that will someone will do that for you is a problem and it's a you problem, not a game or LFG problem. Not to mention it is not difficult to pfigure out the mechanics of the new dungeon. And the virtue signaling, my god. "Be and act like a community." It's always the ones with their hands out blaming others for their shortcomings. Literally always.
-
THEN MAKE A POST SAYING (FRESH RUN NEVER DONE JOIN UP) you're welcome
-
The only time this argument makes sense is when it's used in a context to criticize the design choices of raid mechanics. Dungeons are fairly straightforward to figure out, but raids unfortunately have a lot going on in the background that generally requires some form of external information. I have always been on the fence about that idea - I really don't think watching a YouTube vid is as engaging as learning the mechanics by trial and error, but some of the stuff in raids is so monotonous and complex that watching videos is the obvious choice most make. Of course, "know what to do" prefixes encompass more than just strictly mechanics, at least I have always considered them that way.
-
Then make your own fireteam? I never understand this. If someone wants people who kwtd then they only want people who kwtd. If you want a party that dosen't kwtd or you yourself don't, then just make a post. "I dont know what im doing." People will join and play so long as youre not crying for a carry and dragging people down by not learning through a video or asking for advise. Especially in dungeons. Noone gives af, one player can solo carry all of them and if someone is doing something wrong thats wiping the team just tell them so they now...get this...KWTD. This is a self made issue and we're all tired of it. Instead of complaining, do something about it.
-
I watched one 10-minute video and was able to teach it to my clanmate and then duo it with him. It's not hard to learn what to do.
-
MAKE YOUR OWN POST, STOP GETTING OFFENDED BY WORDS
-
2 things you can do: - Make your own post (crazy idea, I know…) - go on YouTube one night and watch a gameplay video or wait for a guide. Walkthroughs are an hour or 2. Or wait a day for a guide video which is only about 30 minutes. Complaining on here instead of being proactive is crazy
-
It kills me when people complain about this instead of making their own fireteam.
-
At least watch a video guide before attempting. If you wanna go in blind make the post yourself and say that . There is are always people looking
-
Screw‘em. Just make your own team.
-
Create your own posts then? With your own rules, requirements and what not. Saved me lots of times when you meet those types of people 🤷♂️
-
I think it’s part of LFG really and isn’t as toxic as it seems. KWTD for me just means you have watched a video or read a guide and kind of have an idea of the what to do. If you do want to go in blind and learn it than that’s cool too but I’d just make a post yourself stating that and you’ll get similar people or Sherpas /players who are happy to do that.
-
They made a post with their preferences and you can make a post with your own preferences just like them. Really not that complicated.
-
Ah yes, this again. Instead of making a post asking for help or a Sherpa, go to the forums and complain about “how elitist people are when they say kwtd.”
-
Join a decent Clan, do you have more people to help out, I know the big Clan I am in there are plenty of people willing to help take you on your first run. LFG people want quick done things so most are KWTD but if you make a post asking for help you will find people willing to help too.

Изменено (TheShadow): 12/4/2023 2:39:02 PMI like how rude a lot of players have been to the OP, yet a lot of them are the same people who pretend they help others on different posts 😂🤦♂️ This business has created a toxic environment, it's why I like playing Waframe, most of the community is willing to help. You can't say that at all about this community, ever...
