You literally took the fun out of solar titan. Being a titan main, nerfing hammer throw after 8 years of enjoyment, is wrong. Please rollback the change. Its not fun in any content. One of the worst changes ever made. Petition to revert back to how it was.

I think a suitable change, would be no 1.4 sec cd if the throw kills, it controls the spammy throwing against bigger targets while not ruining the neutral hammer slinging fun

This is how I feel about the Young Ahakharams Spine nerf. One of the very few hunter exotics that builds away from either buffing mobility, reload speed, or "enhancing" your super. YAS enabled a very fun and not really "op" gameplay loop that could compete with something like bonk and Sunbracers while still being weaker than the two.

If they had even a shroud of shame and any sense left, they would have rolled back a lot of things they messed up. Anyways, after FS they'll be nothing more to nerf because mostly people will move on, The clock is running out soon.

I honestly have not notice too much of a difference. The new cooldown was pretty simple to adapt to. And if we are being honest, us bonk titans did need a slight nerf.

Rather than a total rollback I think that cooldown should only go into effect if you hit something. Not a great feeling to miss your hammer then have to dive into enemies to get it back, then not get any regen for picking it up and have to wait to try again.

it did feel like a band-aid patch with the new worm god changes from it being too broken with them. if they want to directly hit that part without ruining the rest of it's fantasy, they should empliment a system where it only has the delay if you pick it right up right after you throw it. say at a boss feet, it will have that cooldown. but if you throw it and fetch it it will come right back

If they wanted to nerf it, they should've nerfed or removed the heal on pickup, but kept the cooldown intact. Give us higher risk, but let us keep the higher reward. Nothing feels quite as satisfying as instantly blowing up a champion before it can barrier or teleport. To me, that's the whole point/satisfaction of bonk hammer. I'd happily take a higher risk, through losing survivability, if it meant I got to keep the high reward of watching champions just get melted. And this is coming from a Hunter main whose least favorite class is Titan, so I'm not just being biased towards my main, or something.

The designers wanted to cut back on what they saw as a degenerate behavior in the game so they made a change. However, outside of those degenerate scenarios, the changes negatively affected the use cases for the ability creating clunky moments instead of meaningful or more importantly, fun moments. The better solution that solves both problems would be to simply change the ability to fully recharge after getting a kill, otherwise trigger the short cooldown. Degenerate behavior targeted without limiting the fun factor of smashing rank & file enemies in the head with a hammer

I created a post a few days ago, explaining that there’s absolutely no reason to nerf Bonk when something like Assassin’s Cowl exists. They were already neck and neck beforehand, now they nerf Bonk all for the glorification of Hunter’s massive ego. Titan is irrelevant and useless in PvE, and now we’ve approached the point where they are almost in the same spot in PvP. I’m honestly done with Titan due to the nerfs, switched to Warlock mid-last season, and I finally realize that: 1. Titan is actually trash at everything, I just thought every class was as weak as Titan because that’s all I’ve ever known. Now I know that Titan is literally beyond bottom of the barrel. 2. Hunters are out of their mind if they say Titan is the best PvP class. Go play Solar Warlock with Ophidians for 2 weeks, and you’ll understand.

"But Titans are still just fine, stop complaining" Don't let that distract you from the fact that Hunters can infinitely throw their knife, but Titan's aren't allowed to infinitely throw their hammer.

And since it take 1.4 seconds to give back health on pick up, if you throw it a distance you die after picking it up. It's so trash now people are using strand in everything. THANKS BUNGE!!!!!!!!!

As a solar hammer titan thrower I don’t see much difference. You just can’t throw your hammer for 1.7 seconds after thrown. Doesn’t really bother me.

Literally a 1.4 second cooldown and you kids are acting like it’s the end of the world. It’s no wonder no one takes this forums seriously.
