Props for that and Coil (drifting apart needs to go for solo runners)

After the glorius all glowing armor of Ghosts, we get another boring plain set , that doesn't look any better than green starting gear

I'm enjoying it. But they really need to remove Hex of Vengeful Corruption at death. It persists even after death, and upon reviving, you die right away to it.

I think it’s alright. When I think of a Dungeon, I hold it to these standards: - Easy Mechanics - High Add Density - Booby Traps Now, in the scenario of Warlord’s Ruin, it has a 2/3 for me. It has booby traps, it has high add density, but the mechanics are a little too tedious for a dungeon imo. Some people like it a little more difficult, but I don’t. I think Dungeons should be relatively easy mechanic-wise. Like the final boss fight: Kill adds Spawn big adds Kill big adds Spawn special adds (Lantern thingamajigs) Kill special adds Spawn immune adds Punch immune adds Boss DPS Rinse and repeat. Just too many steps. Now, look at GoA’s final boss fight: Kill special add Get cannon Shoot cannon at hole Drop balls Pick up balls Dunk balls Boss DPS Rinse and repeat Simplistic and quick. Requires little thought process, but still requires you to put your all into boss DPS. High add density, booby traps, easy mechanics. 3/3. I still like Warlord’s Ruin, and I think it’s one of the best dungeons. For a tier list: GoA WR SotW Shattered Throne Duality Prophecy GotD PoH

Credit where credit is due. The new dungeon is excellent, great theme and visuals reminded me of Skyrim. Much better than the last two. I can see myself wanting to replay it, unlike Duality or GoD. The coil is also good fun too. Fair play Bungie.

Honestly, I am loving it so far. But for some context: the last ever raid I did was Leviathan when it launched, and everybody knows it sucked then. I remember trying out Last Wish but couldn’t learn the mechanics. On top of that, my friends from D1 left so I was alone. Recently I came back, but slowly felt locked out staying with casual content like strikes and the seasonal activity, missing on actual loot, so I started my research and just this week completed my first dungeon solo (shattered throne for wish ender). It gave me the necessary confidence boost to LFG for a group and honestly, just after finishing the new dungeon, I felt the excitement again without it being overly complicated. I just might start raiding again!

The aesthetics of this dungeon is one of the best, I absolutely love storming a castle atop a mountain and the whole gameplay aspect was fun, the only problems I have are the loot isn't exciting and the exotic is kinda meh, also if the final boss was more dragon-like I would love it more.

Well there is the Zira’s Shell bug where you don’t get the shell

Yes I think bungie hit a home run with the dungeon. I think it’s one everyone will be able to do on normal. I wish the final boss was a dragon too, would have been cool for the castle vibe. The views and land scape are amazing. And the mechanics are not over bearing. Great job bungie!!!!

After my first run all I could think was 1) they should've named the dungeon " Revenge of the Meatball" and 2) I'm gonna have a psychosis about traps by the end of this season.

I'm not a fan so far. Dungeons are all of the worst parts of Destiny with none of the good parts. Jumping puzzles and mechanics. Traps and mechanics. Memorizing routes and more mechanics. They're just designed to initiate multiple deaths by misadventure so you can't claim it was too easy. Just once I'd like to see a dungeon actually be JUST defeating enemies in multiple encounters as you explore a great space WITHOUT mechanics, puzzles, or platforming. Not that it should always be that way, but this game has become overly predictable. You know there will be jumping puzzles. You know there will be immunity phases. You know there will be instadeath mechanics, and you know it will be designed as to require multiple deaths by misadventure because it will be trial and error.

There hasn't been a dungeon I look forward to running again like this dungeon ,its so cool . The mountain setting was a brilliant, the traps . The hidden rooms . We are down a player right now in are clan so it was just the two of us . We ran it through yesterday and again today duo and was so fun but tough . Once you get it figured out its just pure fun then. Cant say enough good things about it. I hope everyone gets in there and gets some of the really cool weapons it has to offer . I didn't like it at first, but didnt give up , Then it became my favorite of all dungeons hands down.

Изменено (A_mo): 12/3/2023 4:43:56 AMIt's good the people that paid for the dungeon seem pleased with the dungeon. Hopefully all the people that paid for the pvp will be pleased by it. Oh... it's free you say? Well then, why do so many people shame the people who like to buy things to support the game like money comes from nowhere or you're paying the person that's paying you. Some peoples revenuuuuuues go down then they proceed to threaten where the revenue comes from. The little bitty kids ought not tak to people like they're the ones paying them. You have to earn that treatment by producing roundly beloved badassness first. And I hate to bring the money part just as much as some other people.

The tutorial from Rick Kackis was interesting to watch as well as various streams. However, I am skipping the dungeon. Platforming, puzzles, and numerous ads are unappealing, let alone team wipes. I can complete a lot more things in the game for the time I would have spent playing the dungeon.
-
My shock when I saw a piece of content that wasn't filled with recycled assets.
-
It's pretty good. However i fund the amount of adds are a bit much. Got the cp for the final boss so hopefully I can beat it this weekend.
-
Really wish the loot for gotd and this were switched this one is so fun and cool but the loot and armour is shite, and it’s the other way around for gotd
-
Saw someone already solo flawless it in an hour. That being said its a great dungeon I like it.
-
Didnt like it at first but now once you figure out the mechanics its the bomb. Hands down the best one to date for me. Very nice Bungie.

Изменено (UnleashedArcher): 12/2/2023 9:34:03 PMI really enjoyed the dungeon. It will definitely be a weekly run for me.
-
It is. And it’s probably my favorite.
-
It looks pretty -blam!- cool I'm going to have to try this dungeon out when I get off work tomorrow, but for now I'm watching a video of old Rick doing this.

I like it

Love the encounters. Final boss is a bit tanky and don’t love that the Wraiths can give you the debuff back. Great aesthetic. Bow and sidearm are cool but sword and sniper less so. GGs Bungie. Curious to see what the exotic is like but 4 clears in already.

Not sure how the Dungeon is for Solo but for teamplay, they nailed it. Even though the bosses got high health, i feel like the mechanics there made them more fair. Like the last boss, there’s other bosses with health gates for DPS phases to make a team progress through a encounter or increase the time of a DPS phase and the final boss of Warlord’s Ruin is no different but if you didn’t reach the damage gate, it still gives you another try at it until you reached the threshold, then you progress. You do that 3 times i think until you reach a full damage phase where you switch platforms for DPS, or you’re at final stand (only Dungeon Boss with a final stand). Not sure if the boss wipes you during Final Stand if you didn’t do enough damage (like other Raid Bosses) because me and the team kills it before it gets to do anything. My current favorite Dungeon is Spire of The Watcher and this one’s pretty close.
