The more I play Destiny 2, the more I want to be able to have multiple exotic weapons equipped at the same time. I really wish Bungie would add something like this in. My first idea: Have an exotic quest that will reward each player with an exotic class item armor piece (bond for warlock, cloak for hunter, and mark for titan). The exotic property will allow you to equip up to 3 exotic weapons at the same time, however, for each exotic weapon you have equipped you will receive a -20 to -30 reduction to all stats, up to -60 to -90. This would make it so all your stats would be at tier 1, maybe tier 2. The thought is to make ability cooldowns suffer for having so much extra firepower at you disposal in terms of weapons. Idea 2: Just give us this feature for free, but make it so in raids and perhaps dungeons you can only have 1 exotic weapon equipped. My main reason for wanting to equip multiple exotic weapons is because they are the things I want to use, like right now if I could, I'd be using Wish-Ender and Xenophage; and if I could use a third exotic for my energy weapon, I'd use Eriana's Vow, Jotunn, Telesto, or Ex Diris. I understand the reasoning behind only allowing us to use 1 exotic weapon, but you can't justify using a primary ammo exotic weapon over a special or heavy ammo exotic weapon in terms of sheer power. Maybe that's the change... Idea 3: Allow exotic weapons that use primary ammo to be used with other exotic weapons. So you could use Wish-Ender with Xenophage, Monte Carlo with Jotunn, or even Ace of Spades with Riskrunner and Leviathan's Breath. The thought here is you can't use an exotic weapon that uses special ammo paired with one that uses heavy ammo, to limit the overpowered-ness. I feel like this is one of those things that is too much work for them to code in and/or deemed as "not important enough" to do. Similar to how we still can't put shaders on exotic weapons??? They allow it with exotic armor so why not exotic weapons?... eh, oh well, I'm ranting now. Hopefully one of these will happen eventually, but I do not have high hopes.
