No Way they replaced control with checkmate??? Tell me this is BS ?
It’s on a weekly rotator with regular control, sparrow control, etc. They just started this week with Checkmate. Personally, I’m done with the Crucible for this week, because regular Control is my favorite playlist and I don’t like it when I can’t play it.

Nope. It’s checkmate control. And the trashscans love it.
-
Wow that’s a crazy move.. not even the choice to pick 😔 guess I’ll be playing more comp

At least it has an interesting pulse. Shame I missed the rose rotation a couple seasons ago. The one that I got was a pretty trash roll.
-
You can focus rose at shaxx. Idk if you know or not.

Even comp is booty. I don’t know how bungie managed to ruin crucible. I mean what did I expect, it’s bungie, these are the same people that can’t even kill an overload Minotaur.

This was a pretty serious situation that many influencers in the community were very quick to write off and ignore. It's unacceptable for a game's director to be unaware of (and effectively fail to) its base champion mechanics. I'm not saying he needs to know all the nitty gritty figures/techs/builds/etc that the community discovers, but he should know which weapons to use for which champions and how his artifact affects them, especially if he claims to truly play Destiny 2. However, the situation certainly does lend some credibility to the notion that perhaps Joe's a patsy intended to absorb much of the game's player frustration & redirect them to whatever new idea/product they want to push into the community (usually a player nerf + an enemy buff). It'd certainly be a solid strategic marketing ploy by Bungie to put lovable Joe in the line of fire...his geeky, likable "everyman" nature discouraging players from taking the shot. Heck, instead of his game's lack of content, he's got many focused on his lack of mustache. Crazy.
