They need to have a set number of points for a win and a loss. It should not be based on enemy (elo or anything at all), it should only be based on rank.
I'll be fine at gaining 75 points for a win against the same ranked opponents (example, adept vs. an adept. If I win, I earn 75. If I lose, I lose 50), no losing 200 and gaining 35 because they let their kid play on their account or their pass pvp skill is killing their elo.
If you lose to a platinum, you lose 75 and gain 75. I know there is "rank base matching,"but I'll sit in adept and face ascendant 24/7, so when I face ascendant I should gain 100 and lose 50.
Yes, this will make ascendant easier to get. What is a good thing is it will make more people play.
And one more thing, I believe an easy way to save comps is to change the point system and make all pass season comp guns drop in-adept attempts off of wins and losses. With a low % in adept and higher % in ascendant, you know how many people will play to farm for a good rose. Keep the new season weapons weekly, but making guns tons, making getting adept and ascendant easier and making higher rank matches drop past seasonal guns will make tons of people farm on a daily basis.

Your Comp Rank is essentially based on your "skill." The game is going to put you in whatever Rank your "skill" belongs. You also match players based on your "skill." Once you understand that, it's not as annoying.
